Kim Kardashian, also known as Kim Kardashian West, is an American television and social media personality, actress, socialite, and model. She is the daughter of Robert Kardashian, an attorney who was one of O.J. Simpson’s lawyers at his murder trial, and Kris Jenner (born Kristen Mary Houghton), a socialite. O.J. Simpson was Kim’s godfather. Her siblings are Kourtney Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian, and Rob Kardashian, and her half-siblings are Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner. Through her ex-stepparent, Caitlyn Jenner, she was a stepsister of musician Brandon Jenner and socialite Brody Jenner. Kim has four children, including singer and actress North West, with her former husband, rapper, record producer, and fashion designer Kanye West. Her niece is Penelope Disick.

Kim’s father was of Armenian descent. Kim’s mother is from a family that has lived in the United States for many generations, and has English, as well as Scottish, Irish, German, Dutch, Scots-Irish/Northern Irish, Welsh, and remote Jersey Channel Islander and Cornish, ancestry. Kim once stated that she gets her curves from her Armenian heritage. Kim has said that she did not speak Armenian at home, but does occasionally at family get-togethers. She once stated in an interview, “being Armenian is a big part of who I am,” and that her grandfather instilled a lot of Armenian culture in her. In 2019, she was baptized in the Armenian Apostolic Church with the name Heghine.

A 23andMe DNA test whose results were displayed on the show Keeping Up with the Kardashians (2018) stated that Kim’s sisters Khloé and Kourtney’s genetic ancestry is:

*53%-58% European
——–*4.5% French
*41.6% Middle Eastern & North African

The test also evidently stated that the Kardashians have a fraction of Native American DNA, presumably under .4% in Khloé’s case, given her 58% European and 41.6% Middle Eastern results.

Kim’s paternal grandfather was Arthur Thomas Kardashian (the son of Tatos Saghatel “Thomas”/Tom Kardashian and Hamas “Hanna” Shakarian). Arthur was born in Los Angeles, Los Angeles Co., California, to parents from Kars, Russian Empire. The family were ethnic Armenian Molokan Jumpers from Karakale, now Turkey. Tatos was the son of Saghatel/Sam Kardashian/Kardaschoff and Harom “Mary” Varsoff/Yuzbashian. Kim’s family’s last name was spelled Kardaschoff in Russia. Kim’s great-grandmother Hamas was the daughter of Demos/Tom Shakarian and Goolisar/Grace Yesilbashian/Thomson.

Kim’s paternal grandmother was Helen Jean Arakelian (the daughter of John Arakel Mgrditchian Arut Arakelian and Vartanoosh/Rose Miroyan/Mirayan). Helen was born in Los Angeles, Los Angeles Co., California. John was born in Getap, Vayots Dzor, Armenia. Vartanoosh was born in Erzurum, Erzurum, Turkey, of Armenian descent, the daughter of Hovhannes Miroyan and Luciag Chorbajian.

Kim’s maternal grandfather was Robert True Houghton (the son of True Otis Houghton and Mary Lee Pickens). Robert was born in San Diego County, California. Kim’s great-grandfather True was born in Oklahoma, the son of Otis Sewall Houghton, who had deep New England roots, and of Lula Laura Barnard/Bernard. Mary Lee was born in Texas, the daughter of Charles/Charlie Luran A. Pickens and Lizzie/Elizabeth Mae/May/Mary A. Douglas/Douglass.

Kim’s maternal grandmother is Mary Gorden/Gordon/Jo Campbell (the daughter of Gorden/Gordon Lowe Campbell and Lou Ethel Wyatt). Kim’s grandmother Mary was born in Arkansas. Kim’s great-grandfather Gorden was born in Mounds, Creek, Oklahoma, the son of Jefferson Davis Campbell and Freedonia/Fredonia/Fredom May Teaney. Lou was born in Mississippi, the daughter of Walter Alba Wyatt and Mary Tiny VanZandt/Van Zandt.

Kim’s matrilineal line can be traced to her great-great-great-great-grandmother, S. Margaret “Maggie” Gray, who was born, c. 1833, in Mississippi.

    Correction.

Kim and Khloe both to a DNA admixture test on Lopez Tonight. Kim’s results were that she was 94% European, 6% Native American. While this tests can sometimes have results that may be chalked up to genetic noise, her results were similar to her sister Khloe’s results who exhibited an admixture of 97% European, 3% Native American. One test could have false results, but for the test to incorrectly designate both of them with Native American DNA is unlikely.

Native American should be added to her profile.

They’re barely Native American, so it really doesn’t matter.

You’re incorrect. I just watched the George Lopez interview you were talking about on Youtube. George said that Kim was 94% ARMENIAN and 6% Native American. The DNA test was just a joke. There’s no way that Kim could be 94% Armenian when Kris Jenner is Caucasian.

both of her parents are white caucasian

        • memphis says:

Armenia is in the Caucasus in Central Asia making Kim truly Caucasian. I would also believe Turkish because of the history of Armenia. Kim’s mom is of European descent with possibly Native ancestry. Kim’s mom is Caucasian only due facial type not ancestry.

      • Jello says:

I agree. Kourtney asks her “so who’s your mom?’ after George reads the results, which means that this DNA test was not real.
Kris Jenner is of English descent and Kim should have a lot of that in her DNA results.
If her dad was Armenian, then where did that Native American come from?

LOL DNA TEST FOR NATIVE ANCESTRY IS NOT ACCURATE, AND YES 6% IS NOTHING, MOST TRIBES WOULDN’T EVEN LET HER IN.

People who test their DNA for native ancestry often get it wrong, lots of times people who don;t even have native ancestry get a positive on it. We are the most documented people in America, we can trace our ancestors all the way back, we are in history forever. We know who are people are, and we are a minority in this country. 90% of us were whipped out, few intermixed. Its truly rare to meet mixed Natives, despite what all theses wannabes say. All us natives are SICK AND TIRED OF ALL YOU PEOPLE PRETENDING AND EXPLOITING OUR RACE TO MAKE YOURSELF FEEL MORE EXOTIC AND TRENDY.

        Shameful.

Their family tree is interesting though. Her ancestor , Richard Woodville was the maternal great grandfather of Henry the 8, and grandfather of Edward 5

  3. everyoneisthesame says:

before plastic surgery she looked more armenian

  4. angrygirl19 says:

Her daughter is gorgeous and beautiful combined in one

    • someone from the internet says:

I’m not the type to criticize babies’ looks, but her child is so average. The only reason you think she’s “gorgeous” is because she’s the daughter of Kim Whoredashian. If she were just another baby, you wouldn’t even say she was “gorgeous”. You know it too.

      • angrygirl19 says:

OR, the only reason I think she’s cute is because she’s cute. I can’t stand her mother so who are you to talk for me? Please sit your tired hungry ass down and don’t ever approach me again.

      • angrygirl19 says:

And actually, I would still say she’s cute. That baby did nothing to you. If you have kids, I hope someone calls them ugly so you can get a taste of it. Gtfoh with that mess. Stop acting like you’re able to read my mind. I can speak for my f$&king self

      • midori29 says:

No that baby is Super gorgeous and im being truthful because I dont like kanye or kim.
