She is the daughter of Robert Kardashian, an attorney who was one of O.J. Simpson’s lawyers at his murder trial, and Kris Jenner (born Kristen Mary Houghton), a socialite. O.J. Simpson was Kim’s godfather. Her siblings are Kourtney Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian, and Rob Kardashian, and her half-siblings are Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner. Through her ex-stepparent, Caitlyn Jenner, she was a stepsister of musician Brandon Jenner and socialite Brody Jenner. Kim has four children, including singer and actress North West, with her former husband, rapper, record producer, and fashion designer Kanye West. Her niece is Penelope Disick.
Kim’s father was of Armenian descent. Kim’s mother is from a family that has lived in the United States for many generations, and has English, as well as Scottish, Irish, German, Dutch, Scots-Irish/Northern Irish, Welsh, and remote Jersey Channel Islander and Cornish, ancestry. Kim once stated that she gets her curves from her Armenian heritage. Kim has said that she did not speak Armenian at home, but does occasionally at family get-togethers. She once stated in an interview, “being Armenian is a big part of who I am,” and that her grandfather instilled a lot of Armenian culture in her. A 23andMe DNA test whose results were displayed on the show Keeping Up with the Kardashians (2018) stated that Kim’s sisters Khloé and Kourtney’s genetic ancestry is:

The test also evidently stated that the Kardashians have a fraction of Native American DNA, presumably under .4% in Khloé’s case, given her 58% European and 41.6% Middle Eastern results.
Kim’s paternal grandfather was Arthur Thomas Kardashian (the son of Tatos Saghatel “Thomas”/Tom Kardashian and Hamas “Hanna” Shakarian). Arthur was born in Los Angeles, Los Angeles Co., California, to parents from Kars, Russian Empire. The family were ethnic Armenian Molokan Jumpers from Karakale, now Turkey. Tatos was the son of Saghatel/Sam Kardashian/Kardaschoff and Harom “Mary” Varsoff/Yuzbashian. Kim’s family’s last name was spelled Kardaschoff in Russia. Kim’s great-grandmother Hamas was the daughter of Demos/Tom Shakarian and Goolisar/Grace Yesilbashian/Thomson.

I have never seen her ever speak Arminian or Russian as most Arminian speak and know Russian as part of the soviet union. My son is the same age as her daughter and can say hi and bye in Russian (privyet and paka) and that’s from my Russian husband and his family over the skype. Even my black family is learning the basic in Russian. Hopefully north will be bilingual in Arminian and English
the kardashians arent seen as armenians in armenia because they feel nothing what connects her to them except her armenian father. armenian people are very tradional and proud of being armenian but they arent proud of the kardashians giving them a bad name.

Just wanted to add to the Russian version of her name? Wouldn’t it be spelt *Kardaschov* not Kardaschoff? The (off) on Russian last names in the west is a French version of a Slavic name. And all the females would end in Kardaschova (A) using Russian Slavic naming customs. Being married to a Russian my married name ends in the traditional and typical suffix of *Lov* and mine is *lova*
