Kim Kardashian, also known as Kim Kardashian West, is an American television and social media personality, actress, socialite, and model. She is the daughter of Robert Kardashian, an attorney who was one of O.J. Simpson’s lawyers at his murder trial, and Kris Jenner (born Kristen Mary Houghton), a socialite. O.J. Simpson was Kim’s godfather. Her siblings are Kourtney Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian, and Rob Kardashian, and her half-siblings are Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner. Through her ex-stepparent, Caitlyn Jenner, she was a stepsister of musician Brandon Jenner and socialite Brody Jenner. Kim has four children, including singer and actress North West, with her former husband, rapper, record producer, and fashion designer Kanye West. Her niece is Penelope Disick.

Kim’s father was of Armenian descent. Kim’s mother is from a family that has lived in the United States for many generations, and has English, as well as Scottish, Irish, German, Dutch, Scots-Irish/Northern Irish, Welsh, and remote Jersey Channel Islander and Cornish, ancestry. Kim once stated that she gets her curves from her Armenian heritage. Kim has said that she did not speak Armenian at home, but does occasionally at family get-togethers. She once stated in an interview, “being Armenian is a big part of who I am,” and that her grandfather instilled a lot of Armenian culture in her. In 2019, she was baptized in the Armenian Apostolic Church with the name Heghine.

A 23andMe DNA test whose results were displayed on the show Keeping Up with the Kardashians (2018) stated that Kim’s sisters Khloé and Kourtney’s genetic ancestry is:

*53%-58% European
——–*4.5% French
*41.6% Middle Eastern & North African

The test also evidently stated that the Kardashians have a fraction of Native American DNA, presumably under .4% in Khloé’s case, given her 58% European and 41.6% Middle Eastern results.

Kim’s paternal grandfather was Arthur Thomas Kardashian (the son of Tatos Saghatel “Thomas”/Tom Kardashian and Hamas “Hanna” Shakarian). Arthur was born in Los Angeles, Los Angeles Co., California, to parents from Kars, Russian Empire. The family were ethnic Armenian Molokan Jumpers from Karakale, now Turkey. Tatos was the son of Saghatel/Sam Kardashian/Kardaschoff and Harom “Mary” Varsoff/Yuzbashian. Kim’s family’s last name was spelled Kardaschoff in Russia. Kim’s great-grandmother Hamas was the daughter of Demos/Tom Shakarian and Goolisar/Grace Yesilbashian/Thomson.

Kim’s paternal grandmother was Helen Jean Arakelian (the daughter of John Arakel Mgrditchian Arut Arakelian and Vartanoosh/Rose Miroyan/Mirayan). Helen was born in Los Angeles, Los Angeles Co., California. John was born in Getap, Vayots Dzor, Armenia. Vartanoosh was born in Erzurum, Erzurum, Turkey, of Armenian descent, the daughter of Hovhannes Miroyan and Luciag Chorbajian.

Kim’s maternal grandfather was Robert True Houghton (the son of True Otis Houghton and Mary Lee Pickens). Robert was born in San Diego County, California. Kim’s great-grandfather True was born in Oklahoma, the son of Otis Sewall Houghton, who had deep New England roots, and of Lula Laura Barnard/Bernard. Mary Lee was born in Texas, the daughter of Charles/Charlie Luran A. Pickens and Lizzie/Elizabeth Mae/May/Mary A. Douglas/Douglass.

Kim’s maternal grandmother is Mary Gorden/Gordon/Jo Campbell (the daughter of Gorden/Gordon Lowe Campbell and Lou Ethel Wyatt). Kim’s grandmother Mary was born in Arkansas. Kim’s great-grandfather Gorden was born in Mounds, Creek, Oklahoma, the son of Jefferson Davis Campbell and Freedonia/Fredonia/Fredom May Teaney. Lou was born in Mississippi, the daughter of Walter Alba Wyatt and Mary Tiny VanZandt/Van Zandt.

Kim’s matrilineal line can be traced to her great-great-great-great-grandmother, S. Margaret “Maggie” Gray, who was born, c. 1833, in Mississippi.

not every European look the same.. pale blonde and blue eye.
    you retardass
    European is continent.

is Colin Farrell look European to you.
    LOL
. she look Italian Romanian Albanian. etc.
that typical southern European look is not very uncommonly in western European or Scandinavia. most of the Armenian look white.

    • andrew says:

Italian Romanian Albanian are different things, last two are the first foreign ethnic groups in Italy and you can see the difference by a mile..romanians are not southern europeans even though they speak a romance language, kim would fit better in iran than mediterranean

      • J.J. says:

oh please Andrew as if kim kardashian looks Persian, she looks Armenian and could easily pass for eastern or southern European, even Turkish and Lebanese would be pushing it. she looks like a white woman, because she is, end of story

        • andrew says:

she fits in those countries, hardly in iberia

          • Alice says:

No she doesn’t look Iberian at all.

          • J.J. says:

it’s amazing how you’re rambling on with your crap that she doesn’t look Iberian when I’ve seen Spanish people with such a similar look to her not to mention I’ve asked a person what they thought she looked and the person said Spanish straight away, she could pass for Spanish quite easily

          • Alice says:

Yes there it is. One line and that’s “rambling on with your crap”. I could say more but I’ll keep quiet for now.

What people are failing to realize is Armenians are true Caucasians because they originate from the Caucasus and “white” people have various origins but the skin tone is only a fluke due to diet and lack of vitamin D during the last glacial ice age. In parts of Russia, people from the Caucasus are discriminated against because of their darker skin and are labelled “black”. Also factor in that Armenia has a lot of Turkish influence (although their is a lot of animosity between them) as well as Middle Eastern ancestry.

    • andrew says:

      Farrell not european?

      • Alice says:

Colin Farrell doesn’t look middle eastern. He is obviously European. Kim Kardashian looks more Middle Eastern. It’s the features. Anyway she is half Armenian so there’s no mystery about her looks.

  3. sararuiz says:

my teacher is 100% Armenian and looks so much like Kim.

  4. Check7t says:

Armenians are not white, therefore Kim is not white.

Europeans = white, no one else.

    • J.J. says:

Armenia is classed as Europe, as they class the Armenian language as being part of the Indo-European language tree. If you want to get technical it’s classed as part of Eurasia, but it leans in more with Europe than asia. Regardless; western Asians, central Asians and north Africans are all classed as white Caucasians. Get your facts straight and stop being a pathetic bigot. You don’t have to be fair skinned person of a European bloodline with light hair and light eyes to be a white Caucasian.

        • Alice says:

Armenia isn’t classed as Europe. It is a Caucasus country and in that region which separates Europe from Asia. It is more a country like Turkey at a crossroads. People seem to label these countries now as Eurasian. Georgia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan lay directly to Turkey’s east and most of Turkey is situated in Asia. Most of these countries are more south of the Caucasus range. Most Europeans don’t consider them to be European.

          • J.J. says:

            http://mapsof.net/map/europe-regions-1#.UxHnxqNWHIU

That is one of the most common used maps when referring to the different regions of Europe and it has included the Caucasus mountain region, I agree with you, it is similar to turkey in the sense it’s in between, I think the term Eurasia is fine, but I’d say turkey is more asia considering the land is classified as asia and only a small part of turkeys territory is on European soil. However Armenian culture is more European in the sense of their historical connections with European culture, it’s language being classed as Indo-European and the fact that they’re a Christian nation. But this is not a matter of whether or not Armenia is Europe or the middle east, it’s that kim kardashian is white regardless of her being half Armenian and that Armenia could be classed as the middle east, middle easterns are still white Caucasians, I don’t see why that’s so hard for people to take in.

      • Random243 says:

most indian languages are indo-european, does that make them white? nope. neither are armenians.

    • der40 says:

No one ever said Cher was biracial.

      • Random243 says:

Ok what is SO FUCKING hard to understand that white is only limited to Europeans? Middle easterns, people from the caucasus (georgians, armenians, azeris), and north african are people of color. Geography of Armenia doesn’t erase the genes of armenians. They may be in Eurasia but that aren’t fucking white. stop.
