Louis-Philippe Bergeron’s first name is Jean, but still his calling name is Louis. Philibert was the son of Philibert Bergeron and Adeline Tremblay. Marie-Louise Bouchard’s nickname is Luce, and was the daughter of Joseph Bouchard and Célanire Lavoie.

Samuel’s middle name is Théodore, and was the son of Louis Adolphe Grenier and Marie Phélonise Hogue. Correct Jeff’s great-grandmother Marie-Louise’s maiden surname to Dassylva, as it is how it is spelled by French-Canadians. She was the daughter of Antoine Charles Dassylva and Marie Malvina Nicole.

Jeff’s matrilineal ancestry can be traced back to his tenth great-grandmother, Marguerite Joly.

Include Breton as part of his French-Canadian ancestry. His mother also has Italian and Portuguese, as well as remote English, Nipissing First Nations, and Spanish [Castilian] ancestry. He is also descended from Zacharie Cloutier.

His mother also has Acadian ancestors.

Remark: Marie Phélonise’s ancestry is too elusive to trace for other ethnicity, so I decided to hold on for now.
