she never stated to be English, she’s Italian and French-Canadian. Catholic. Anything English
French-Canadians are quite a mixed population. There are lots of Irish and Scots mixed in there as well.

Italians are part south and central europeans, what so surprising about it? Sicilians got norman and northern italian descent, that´s why many of them look like your average italian. Even though all europeans are white, some of them probably wouldn´t pass in other countries so easily, like for instance, iberians look different from greeks, germans, swedish.
