    • nnnnn says:

“Typical italian with blue eyes” LOL

      • COOLGUY2012 says:

Madonna looks like average northern italian (descendants of romans). Southern ones look more like greeks (mediterraneans).

        • nnnnn says:

Yes, Trapattoni (football couch) has blue eyes, too.
But, neverthess, it’s not “typicall italian”. Even
north italians have most brown. South Tirol (people
of austrian descent, actually) have most green eyes

Damn neiltennant, you sure do know a lot of people. And the first thing they want to talk about when they meet you is their family tree.
Funny how all six of those south Italian women have German ancestors. What a funny coincidence. Those Jerries must have been on some sex tour of southern Italy fathering babies left and right.

            @ neiltennant

How do you know Trapattoni has “Austrian” ancestors? His parents were Romilda Bassani and Francesco Trapattoni. I never heard anything about that. I added a lot of profiles of Italians (check out Lippi, De Rossi, Armani, Bova etc) and many are blue-eyed without having German or Austrian ancestry. Blue eyes are found in Italian people since Roman Times, and before Barbaric invasions.

Between 35 % and 55 % people in Northern Italy have blue eyes, as well as 30 % people in central Italy – see https://external-preview.redd.it/kjUwSTyjwvAk-qAw5lM6_ygbteRVcQaI_5AMeAx_yuA.png?auto=webp&s=da2dafeed5a8b2813eff14d01150922ea8fd3cf2

          • Nando says:

@neiltennant the average Italian is white, of course. Only a handful of Sicilians, and to a lesser extent people from other parts of southern Italy, have somewhat darker skin. Most Italians don’t have blue eyes, but they is a fairly significant part. In the center and north more than a third of the population has blue eyes, and more than half in the north-east. Not even counting South Tyrol, which isn’t really Italian.

        • Nando says:

That is bullshit. I live in Lombardy, have blue eyes, light brown hair. So do my cousins, and plenty of other people I know, none of whom is of German descent. In Northern Italy between 35 % and 55 % people, depending on the region, have blue eyes. That’s a fact.

  2. CiCi617 says:

News flash Northern Italians are WHITE. Southern Italians are dark because they mixed with the Greeks & Arabs.

    • Nando says:

Nobody cares about the people you claim you met. Data is what matters. Look for a map of percentage of blue eyes in Europe. Northern Italy: between 35 % and 55 %. Central Italy, 30 %. Southern Italy, Sicily included, between 10 % and 25 %.

  3. CiCi617 says:

MADONNA LOOKS ALL ITALIAN! Look at her pictures from when she was a child with brown hair. Her father and my great grandmother were both Ciccones & related. I’m 100% Italian. My father has black hair olive skin brown eyes & a roman nose. My mom was born in Italy & shes white blue eyes brown hair. The only dark Italians R from Sicily and a few in the southern areas since there mixed Arab like my father. Northern Italy like Milan the women R taller 5’7″ lighter complexion. No way in hell she looks Irish, Irish ppl have that pasty white color with freckles.

    • Nando says:

There is no such thing as an average Italian guy. There is southern Italy, where fewer people have blue eyes (between 10 and 25 %), and there is northern Italy, where lots of people have blue eyes – between 35 % and 55 %. This is a fact, the rest, you are making it up.
