maybe she has white blood, but she´s look more like a guineean girl (guinee is in west africa) than a white girl. In the word african american, the key word is african: i feel like most AAs deny the fact that they came from africa. Personally im french because i live in france and i speak french everyday, but my parents are both cameroonian, so im african, even if im light skinned, im african and REALLY proud. The AAs who think that a light skinned black person is automatically mixed should go at least once to an african country (not in northern africa, because most of people who live there is arabic) to see what do the africans like: you can see people look like ciara, beyoncé meagan good shar jackson etc … who are NOT mixed.

  2. Ciara is not pure black. She doesn’t look pure black. She even have caramel skin. I’m sick and tired of people wanting us multigenerational mixed race African-Americans to claim to be pure blacks. We aren’t pure black. We are multigenerationally mixed race. Mixed or multiracial person is a person with mixed-race ancestry. Pure or monoracial person is person with pure race ancestry. GET OVER IT, FOLKS! WE AREN’T PURE BLACKS!

And by the way…Renaldo unlike the rest of you knws what she is talking abt…NO AFRICAN AMERICAN SHOUD CLAIM TO BE A 100% BLACK. Most African American have a whole lot of mixes from past generations and thats why they look so different from black ppl from Africa. Ciara is pretty…but she is mixed…some women in Africa are pretty even though they are not mixed…so really you don’t have to be mixed to be good looking…come to South Africa one day if u get the chance! you will c pretty women who are a 100% black.

whoever thinks that black ppl can only be good looking if they are mixed really needs to go and educate themselves…if you are black and think that way…thats even worse! I think you are still opressed in your mind…u need to educate yourself and liberate your mind coz honestly it’s still very much opressed and, only education can set it free…it’s true what they say u know…KNOWLEDGE REALLY IS POWER!
