it’s not that black people are ashamed of mostly where they came from it’s that they need to accept all of them . If someone asks me what race am i , i would say black . When people say their mixed all they want to do is accept all of who they are . Most african americans do have indian in them my great grandmother on my mom’s side was part cherokee indian she looked just like an indian and my family have some old pics from the early 60’s to prove that and my gram said she was kind of like a gypsy. MY grandpa on my mom’s side , his mom was creole’ and his dad was irish/black . But it really doesn’t matter anyways because i am mostly black , but i do like to accept all of me and i do not want to reject any of my ancestors , if all of my mixed ancestors were here and somebody asked me what race was i , they wouldn’t want me to just say black they would want me to say black/irish/french/indian .
