Brakence, or brakence, is an American singer, songwriter, rapper, record producer, and musician. He is known for his use of both baritone and falsetto vocals, and an emo/hyperpop-influenced style.

Brakence is of one quarter Swedish descent. The rest of his family roots lie in New England, and most of his family lines there have been in the U.S. since the 1600s, specifically in New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Maine.

Brakence’s paternal grandfather was named George Findell (the son of George Findell and Lyra). Brakence’s grandfather George was born in New York, to Swedish parents.

Brakence’s paternal grandmother was Carol Ann Reed (the daughter of Frank Dudley Reed and Gladys Mary/May Stewart). Carol was born in Dover, New Hampshire. Frank was born in Newport, New Hampshire, the son of Willis Arthur Reed and Elizabeth Lucinda Dudley. Gladys was born in Phillips, Maine, the daughter of John Franklin Steward, Jr. and Jennie F. Campbell.

Brakence’s maternal grandfather was Preston Eugene Bemis (the son of Raymond Eugene Bemis and Lillian Bradbury Davis). Preston was born in New Hampshire, to parents from Massachusetts. Raymond was the son of Eugene Melvin Bemis and Ella May Booker. Lillian was the daughter of Charles Joseph Lindsay Davis and Grace Amber Goodwin.

Brakence’s maternal grandmother is Julia Elizabeth Staples (the daughter of Carleton D. Staples and Ruth Eleanor/Eleanore Libbey/Libby). Julia was born in Maine. Carleton was the son of John W. Staples and Rose H. Cook. Ruth was the daughter of Howard Preston Libbey and Alice May Remick.
