To add to what fuzzybear said, while the concept of untouchability is horrible regardless of it’s basis, caste is not based on skin color, but ancestral occupation. There are thousands of lower castes of pale complexion in the North of India, and upper castes of pitch black complexion in the South.
Even in Pakistan, you hear about honor killings over caste-based issues.

Although Hinduism is a ethno-culture based religious identity but you’ll see cast system in hindu scripture. Indian and Pakistani share the same culture. you wouldn’t see caste based honor killing in Malaysia or other non-south Asian Muslim countries.
Indian (hindu Sikh) honor killing is always ignored by western media I can recall CNN doing a report about khap punchyath honors killing in some village in pakistan with mostly happen in India.

Pakistanis arent caucasian, on US census its only European, middle eastern and hispanic etc who are caucasian. South asians are in a different category. white is different from caucasian anyway so even if pakistanis were he would still be mixed race.
Actually, Hispanics aren’t necessarily considered White either. On most forms today, even if there isn’t a box INITIALLY available to indicate if you’re Latino/Hispanic, there is usually a box later on that asks you to check it if you’re of Hispanic origin. So in other words, if you’re Hispanic, you can initially check the box as White, or Black, or any other race for that matter, but you’ll also find yourself checking a separate box later on that asks if you’re Hispanic.
Frankly, I live in L.A. county where the population is 2/3 Hispanic, and most Hispanics don’t look White or Black. They can be best classified as a “Brown” race.

Why are hispanics caucasian? Hispanics/latinos are from Latin America, which is not even on the same side of the planet as the caucasus region! I know that most latinos are mestizo but we are almost never considered white!

It is called Latin America because the majority of the people there came from Latin Europe (Spain, Italy, Portugal, France), so those that didn’t mix with the Native Americans are obviously Spanish, French, Italian or Portuguese Southern American aka white.
