Matthew Sato is an American actor. He is known for his roles on the shows Side Hustle, Doogie Kameāloha, M.D., Saved by the Bell, and High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, and in the film Imaginary. He is also sometimes credited as Matt Sato.

His father is of three eighths Japanese, one eighth Azorean Portuguese, 1/16th Chinese, and 1/16th Hawaiian, ancestry. His mother is mostly of English, German, Irish, Scottish, and Norwegian descent.

Matthew’s paternal grandfather was Ronald Tsugio Sato (the son of Kano Sato and Dorothy Yukiko Takahashi). Ronald was born in Hawaii. Kano was born in Hawaii, the son of Japanese parents, Eljiro “Egiro/Ezero” Sato and Kochiyo/Kochio/Kocho. Yukiko was born in Hawaii, also to Japanese parents, Yoshitaro Takahashi and Miyo/Mayo.

Matthew’s paternal grandmother was Gail Louise Souza (the daughter of Abel Ignacio Kaleonahe Souza and Sueko “Betsy” Yamashina). Gail was born in Hawaii. Abel was born in Hawaii, the son of Jacintho/Jacinto Ignacio de Rego Souza, who was from Ribeira Grande, São Miguel Island, Azores, Portugal, and of Edith Kinolau Achiu, whose own father was Chinese and whose own mother was Native Hawaiian. Matthew’s great-grandmother Sueko was born in Hawaii, to Japanese parents, Sukeichi Yamashina and Taji Koga.

Matthew’s maternal grandfather was Kent Felix (the son of Lowell Forster Felix and Josephine Dell Kromphardt). Kent was born in Illinois. Lowell was born in Illinois, the son of Roy Washington Felix and Maud Foster. Josephine was born in Illinois, the daughter of Frank Peter Kromphardt and Mabel McCoy, whose own mother, Mollie Larson, was Norwegian.

Matthew’s maternal grandmother is Linda Powers (the daughter of Frank T. Powers and Iola J. Sweet). Frank was born in Kentucky, the son of Thomas James Powers and Rose Agnes Huff. Iola was born in Kentucky, the daughter of Conley/Condy/Cordio Sweet and Nana Victoria Haywood.

    He looks like a Scandinavian.
    Many people consider Scandinavians white, but their Asian ancestry is often rivaling this kids.

      Weird take. He was obvious this guy is part Japanese (nearly half Asian in total).

          Also there are barely no ethnic Northern Europeans or people from Western Euro countries in general in those social platforms who troll Southern Europeans.

          This is a rather bizarre thing started by users from New World countries and that is alien to real life.
