Gael García Bernal is a Mexican actor, director, and producer. He is known for starring in the films Amores perros, Y tu mamá también, The Motorcycle Diaries, and Old. He has also directed the films Déficit (2007), segments of 8 (2008) and Madly, which he also wrote; and Chicuarotes. He has often collaborated with Diego Luna.
Gael is the son of José Ángel García Huerta, an actor and director, and Patricia Bernal Lamarque, an actress and model. His maternal half-siblings are actors Darío Yazbek Bernal and Tamara Yazbek.
He has two children with his former partner, Argentinian actress Dolores Fonzi; and one child with his partner, Mexican journalist Fernanda Aragonés.
Gael’s maternal grandmother is named María Lamarque Sáenz. The surname Lamarque can indicate Southwest French or Basque ancestry.

uh what the fuck is a (white) mexican??? its just mexican to us mexicans. white, brown, asian, black, it doesnt matter if your born in mexico your mexican, if your born in the u.s. than your american dont matter your skin color. im from acapulco, my grand mas has blue eyes and all my uncles and counsins from their side have green or hazel eyes, but i just look at them as mexicans. then i have some family who are of afro decent from the state of guerrero, in the outskirts of acapulco and i see them as mexican too. so your dumb.
Mexican is a nationality and ethnicity ( culture etc.). Thus you can say someone’s ethnicity is mexican, but it doesn’t define wether the person is amerindian/spaniard/french etc. You be mexican, but you’re actually part spaniard/african/amerindian. Or pure spaniard (from spain). And that is what the person means. Just like you’re american, but that’s your nationality, it doesn’t say what you are in terms of race, and that’s why they try to specify it. Unless of course you’re purely native american, then technically you’re a “real” american, since they were first there.

Rofl my uncle had red hair and really pale skin when he was younger(ginger) than he got brown hair when he got older n we called him guero out of love. My point is that Mexican call people guero out of love, just like they call overweight people gordo or panson. Yeah if they say ” ey pinche gordo” its offensive but most people don’t use it like that. Its a way to show love.
