Darío Yazbek Bernal is a Mexican actor. He is known for starring on the series The House of Flowers/La Casa de las Flores and Crime Diaries: The Search, and in the films Daniel & Ana, New Order, The House of Flowers: The Movie, Pet Shop Days, and I Don’t Expect Anyone to Believe Me. He has also been credited as Darío Yazbek.

He is the son of Sergio Yazbek Fuentes, a director of photography, and Patricia Bernal Lamarque, an actress and model. His sister is actress Tamara Yazbek. His half-brother is actor Gael García Bernal. On his father’s side, his aunt is photographer Mariana Yazbek and his second cousin was actor Mauricio Garcés (born Mauricio Feres Yazbek).

Darío’s paternal grandfather was Tufic Yazbek Nader (the son of Encamación/Encarnación Yazbek and Isabel Nader). Tufic Yazbek was born in Tampico, Tamaulipas, Mexico, in a Lebanese family. He was a famous fashion photographer during the Golden Age of Mexican cinema.

Darío’s paternal grandmother was named Zaida Fuentes de Yazbek.

Darío’s maternal grandmother is named María Lamarque Sáenz. The surname Lamarque can indicate Southwest French or Basque ancestry.
