Francis Capra is an American actor. He is known for his roles in the films A Bronx Tale and Kazaam, and as Eli “Weevil” Navarro on the show Veronica Mars.

He has stated that he is of Italian and Dominican Republic descent. He is not related to director Frank Capra, despite internet claims that he is his grandson.

His sister is screenwriter Chanel Capra. His half-sister is model Ava Capra.

Francis’ maternal grandfather is named John G. Capra (who likely was the son of James Capra and Hilda). James was born in New York, the son of Michael/Michel Angelo Capra, who was born in Italy, and of Lucy C. Canzone/Cauzona, whose parents were Italian. Hilda was born in New York.

Francis’ maternal grandmother is named Constance “Connie.”
