According to ellis island records and ancestry records Joe Dinicol’s great-grandmother Mary Cillis arrived in New York April 27, 1904 from port of departure being Naples, Italy. Joe’s great-grandfather Sevario Samuel Dinicol arrived in Boston, Massachusetts May 18, 1902 with departure place also being Naples, Italy. His ship was called the Cambroman. I think at least the great-grandmother has roots living in Campania, Naples, Italy.
Oh sorry dismiss that comment wrong person
If he sailed from Naples he does not mean he had family from Naples too (but likely not distant from there). For example you find Piedmontese or other North Italian immigrants who sailed from Genoa, but they were not Ligurian.

Yes they are definitely Italian people from the South. It has to be Di Nicola or De Nicola. Cillis exists also as De Cillis.
I know about that site, but how do know for sure those are his grandparents?
If you look at Constance’s page, it says at the bottom that her death record was registered by Keith Dinicol, son.
Keith says he’s from Kamloops, BC, same place where DiNicols are burried.

Yes, I know he’s from Kamloops, where he graduated high school in 1968. I thought these might be Dinicol’s grandparents, but I didn’t see the bottom of the page, that mentioned Keith’s name as the son. Thank you.
No problem.
What say you about Demi Moore’s paternal grandparents? All the online trees say her grandparents were Clarence Lamar Harmon and Minnie Ruth Compton.
I don’t know. I haven’t been able to link them to Charles Harmon yet. It’s possible.
By the way, do you think Paul Walter Hauser’s great-great-grandfather The Rev. Karol Hauser really was born Jewish, as news stories and biographical tidbits indicate? I haven’t been able to find proof of this.

Dinicol -> from Di Nicola or what?
