Matty Cardarople, also credited as Matthew Cardarople, is an American actor and comedian. His roles include the series Selfie, A Series of Unfortunate Events, Stranger Things, Archibald’s Next Big Thing, in voice performance; and Reservation Dogs, and the films Itsy Bitsy, I Am Woman, Lazy Susan, and Free Guy.

Matty’s paternal grandfather was Philip Joseph Cardarople (the son of Joseph Cardarople and Caroline Elizabeth Novelline). Philip was born in Massachusetts. Matthew’s great-grandfather Joseph was born in Italy. Caroline was born in Massachusetts, to Italian parents, Joseph Novelline and Maria/Mary Vincenza.

Matty’s paternal grandmother was Florence Ann DeCoste (the daughter of John Norman DeCoste and Mary Jane Pitts). Florence was born in Massachusetts, to parents from Nova Scotia, Canada. John was the son of Gabriel Abraham DeCoste and Melanie/Melaney Begeant/Bishong. Mary Jane was the daughter of Jeremiah Pitts.

Matty’s maternal grandfather was Gerald W. Benefiel (the son of Floyd Harvey Benefiel and Grace Leah Audley Kimmerling). Gerald was born in Indiana. Floyd was born in Indiana, the son of George Lewis Benefiel and Mary Alice Neese. Grace was born in Indiana, the daughter of Henry Wesley Kimmerling and Nora Roach.

Matty’s maternal grandmother was Velma C. Hunt (the daughter of Eddice Clair Hunt and Nellie Maxine Strong). Eddice was born in Indiana. Nellie was born in Nebraska, the daughter of Baxter Herbert Strong and Sophronia A. Baldwin.
