Andy LaPlegua is a Norwegian singer and songwriter. He is the lead vocalist of the futurepop band Icon of Coil. He is the son of Bodil Synnøve (Josefsen) and Per Arne Olsen.

Andy’s paternal grandfather was Arne Thorvald Olsen (the son of Ole Arnt Johansen and Teodora Olufine Karlsdatter Kjøkøy). Andy’s grandfather Arne was born in Hvaler, Østfold (now Viken). Ole was the son of a Swedish emigrant, Johan August Andreasson (or Andreasen in Norwegian), of Krokstad, Västra Götaland, and of Pauline Olavesdatter Sande. Olufine was the daughter of Karl August Olsen and Anne Marie Torkildsdatter Holthe.

Andy’s paternal grandmother was Ella Anny Ellefsen (the daughter of Anders Ellefsen and Janna Sofie Olsdatter Tjerbotangen). Ella was born in Hvaler, Østfold (now Viken). Anders was the son of Ellef Andersen Heia and Oline Johannesdatter Tveteskogen. Janna was the daughter of Ole Thøger Svennungsen Tjerbobraaten (later Stubberud) and Hanna Anette Henriksdatter Skattebøl.

Andy’s maternal grandfather was Ragnar Fritjog Josefsen (the son of Amund Fritjof Josefsen and Oskarine Magnussen). Ragnar was born in Fredrikstad, Østfold (now Viken). Amund was the son of Karl Oskar Josefsen and Inga Marie Kristiansen. Oskarine was the daughter of Oskar Marentius Magnussen and Klara Emilie Larsen.

Andy’s maternal grandmother is Rakel Mari Johansen (the daughter of Jens Olaf Johansen and Margit Elvira Eliassen). Rakel was born in Fredrikstad, Østfold (now Viken). Jens was the son of Johan Edvard Johannesen Nøkleby and Helene Mathea Olausdatter Nøkleby. Margit was the daughter of Karl Reinhard Eliassen and Helga Martiniusdatter Bråten.
