    • BB says:

I’d agree with you on Dave. Only Americans seem to think it is.

    • Kurt says:

      What you talkin bout dude?

      • James says:

        Gees you people are ridiculous

        • Amber Berg says:

Judaism actually started out as a tribe- being a european Jew- an ashkenazi Jew- is an ethnicity, culture, and religion- I am Jewish/ African American Russian Jew

          • James says:

You totally missed my point, being jewish doesn’t determine your ethnicity.

          • Amber B says:

No you missed the point because if you are an ashkenazi Jew like Amy- russian Jew- then no you can not become Jewish over night- you are only Jewish if your mother is Jewish because you always know who your mother is. Now religiously you can be who you think you want to be! Also Jews dont try to convert people like other religions do- Judaism is an ethnicity- if you want to participate in the religion part- thats on that person- but they will not be Jewish ethnically!

          • James says:

ok in that sense i can see where your coming from if your saying culturally she’s jewish, but racially she is still white or caucausian.

          • Amber Berg says:

correct! My grandma says she is not white she is Jewish- but she is white- she is russian! Just like I tell her I am African American and Jewish- so if I can be black than she can be white
