In Stephen King’s “Thinner,” she played someone who was Roma.
wait till americans find out germans are actually mostly brown haired and eyed, just as much as other europeans, and also many do have some olive complexion…
I thought she was part Native American for the longest time.
3/4 German (from Baden and Bavaria) and 1/4 wealthy Colonial American.
“Jerome” is French Huguenot (https://www.geni.com/people/Timothy-Jerome-Sr/6000000007299227318) and there is also other stuff: https://www.familysearch.org/tree/pedigree/landscape/GMXJ-P7V
German ancestry is the single largest self-reported ancestry in the United States. We know what Germans look like.
But, I guess the constant American-bashing is much more fun than contributing value to the page.
im not ”bashing” anything lol my comment was not salty or passive-agressive at all, your reply is, my point was that americans(and to be fair, pretty much every other new world nationality) is quite ignorant in regards to euro ethnicities, we tend to have, for the most part, a twisted and nordic-esque notion of europeans, partially because a lot of people in the americas are mixed with non-euro ”races”. And about german-americans, i could be wrong, but i think pretty much all of them have other ancestries as well, mostly british and irish, and sometimes italian, especially in the east coast of US, only a few have, lets say, over 3/4 german ancestry. So its pretty safe to assume that americans in general dont have a clear, first hand notion of what ethnic germans really look like. I would not be surprised if it turns out southern Brazil has a larger number of fully, or nearly fully ethnic germans than the US.
Bavarians I meant, spell check made it into “barbarians” for whatever reason.
Barbarians and many others from South Germany tend to be darker than Germans as a whole.
Bavarians I meant, spell check made it into “barbarians” for whatever reason.
You are actually right. That’s how Romans called Germanic people: Barbarians.

So she’s not Native American?
