anyone realize south , central and mexico consists of many mestizos. Hispanics mean mix breed. Why some latinos and mexicans are so damn hot is because they have native indian blood in then. Native indian genes are asian genes so shut the fuck up.

      • truescience says:

Brazilian are not hispanic.Hispanic refer to the origin of a language.Brazil is consider a latin american country not a hispanic country. The U.S government does consider hispanic a race. Many people in the world do have native, black and white blood and they are not consider hispanic.Shakira,Don Francisco and Pope are people with no native or african ancestry but are hispanic.New studies coming out are showing that white and black americans have native american ancestry.Johnny Depp in many interviews have said that he has native american ancestry. He also have black ancestry.According to your definition he is hispanic and Shakira and Don Francisco are not.

(Shakira,Don Francisco and Pope are people with no native or african ancestry but are hispanic)

Did you give these people a DNA test?

          • guurl says:

are you trying to imply that they have African heritage fuzzy?

            fuzzybear44

So what are we going to do with all the studies that are showing that most white and black americans are mixed or little mixed(if it may you feel better)?
Are we going to start calling them hispanics or latinos. Look at those studies and they are even accepted by the US government. Do you know have difficult is for US government to accept a study or by other doctors?
It is the dream of any researcher to be published by them. It means that you study was done correctly.

      • justme says:

        mom of three:

Brazilians are not hispanic. They are latin but are not consider hispanic. That is not the definition of hispanic. Even Wikipedia got it right. You should buy an Encyclopedia.

    • Really? says:

Really? This is such an ignorant comment; people like you cause people to hate what they are.

    • fbwfeiwb says:

No, she’s pretty because she is mixed-race. There are mixed black and white women who are more beautiful than Adriana Lima e.g. Paula Patton, Emanuela de Paula (Brazilian) and Beyonce. Of course this is my opinion though.

      • HAIL777 says:

LOL I know this comment is old but she’s not pretty because she’s mixed. She’s pretty because she got lucky with the genetic lottery. The vast majority of humans in every country are average looking, extreme beauty is VERY rare in all countries.

  3. BlueMarAzul says:

Adriana Lima’s real surname is TORRES, she uses her mother’s surname LIMA. Torres is an Spanish surname and Lima is an Spanish and Portuguese surname. Her parents are MESTIZOS which means EUROPEAN + NATIVE AMERICAN (AMERINDIAN), and when I refer EUROPEAN is not just Spanish or Portuguese, in Latin America are German/French/Italian/Danish/Swiss/Spanish/Portuguese, etc. MIXED with NATIVE AMERICAN, mestizos are the most common people in All Latin America.

    No black in her.

    Bye

    • fuzzybear44 says:

      @Blue

mestizo just meant mixed. If you notice, the definition keeps changing.First it just meant Mixed, then it meant Spanish and native,Then European and Native. Also in many cases, those people had African blood in them, and according to DNA test, the avg one still does. They could have Asian blood or even Hindu(and right now,I’m just talking about Mexicans). If you go to other countries in Latin America like lets say Venezuela, mestizo has it’s original meaning(mixed). At least that’s what I’m told by the Venezuelans I talk to.So until it’s proven otherwise, she’s part African just like a whole lot of other people down there.

Great can you let me know where the studies are?As a scientist who work in mental health area we do not have any reliable studies coming from Latin American. The studies that are coming are from the US,Israel and Europe. All studies are being made for deseases in certain type of population.Jewish DNA differ from non Jewish.According to the latest studies coming from the US most whites have native american or/black blood. So the story about my dark italian grandparent that many white americans like to believe must be my african grandparent.

        • fuzzybear44 says:

          @truescience

(Great can you let me know where the studies are?)

I can’t tell where they are at now,but I can tell you it was by a Mexican geneticist ,named Ricardo M. Cerda-Flores.I put the information on here about two yrs ago,and I’m not about to go looking for it again.Feel free to do it yourself.

(As a scientist who work in mental health area we do not have any reliable studies coming from Latin American.)

If saying you were a mental health professional was supposed to impress me,it didn’t work.It had the same affect as a commercial, with 3 out of 5 doctors, saying chewing this type gum lowers your blood pressure.

(Jewish DNA differ from non Jewish.According to the latest studies coming from the US most whites have native american or/black blood.)

I’m not really focus on Jews right now, however the studies I’ve seen on whites, says most don’t have native blood. Although studies do say 1-3 have African heritage,at 2.9-20% with the avg being 2.9%.There are those on here who disagree with that, and that is their right.

(So the story about my dark italian grandparent that many white americans like to believe must be my african grandparent.)

This sounds like your own personal problem. If you don’t want to believe your grandparents may have African ancestry, then don’t.However for the record,if your a white person who has African ancestry, that’s exactly what it means,(Ancestry). It does not make you an African. You don’t have to be scared.

          • truescience says:

This are three studies. None of them are from Wikipedia(anyone can edit that).None were did you get you fake study? Two of them have been published by the US government.

Since self-reported race doesn’t always offer a complete picture of a person’s biologic make-up, Dr. Worsham and her colleagues set out to compare patients’ self-reported race with their genetic ancestry to determine if there is any connection to head and neck cancer outcomes.
The study included 358 patients; 37 percent were African American.
Only 5 percent of self-reported African Americans had more than 95 percent West African ancestry, with 27 percent having less than 60 percent West African ancestry. By comparison, 48 percent who self-reported as Caucasian had more than 95 percent European American ancestry.
Study results will be presented Sept. 26 at the American Academy of Otolaryngology–Head & Neck Surgery Foundation Annual Meeting in Boston.

2.The Use of Racial, Ethnic, and Ancestral Categories in Human Genetics Research
In the United States, for example, most people who self-identify as African American have some European ancestors—in one analysis of genetic markers that have differing frequencies between continents, European ancestry ranged from an estimated 7% for a sample of Jamaicans to ~23% for a sample of African Americans from New Orleans (Parra et al. 1998). Similarly, many people who identify as European American have some African or Native American ancestors, either through openly interracial marriages or through the gradual inclusion of people with mixed ancestry into the majority population. In a survey of college students who self-identified as “white” in a northeastern U.S. university, ~30% were estimated to have <90% European ancestry (Shriver et al. 2003). . By the Gisele Bunchen was born in Brazil. Is not in Europe and Don Francisco was born in Germany(son of german jews). His family escape the Holocaust. He came to live to Chile. The Pope was born in Argentina. And Luis Miguel was born to European family. By the way did you know that Don FRancisco got the award of Latino of the century?
Did you the Pope have a ship name after him in Latin America. Also several song are being writing for him in Latin America. That tell you that latinos(900 millions) do not care what you definition of latino is.The US government agree with the definition that latino/hispanic is not a race but a culture. You never spoke with Venezuelas and I travel alot around world. Do not confuse people born here and that they have never travel. Also each country is different.

Thank you for the studies. Most people like to pretend that they read a study and write a few percentages in their comments. But they cannot name a reliable source. The DNA tests are showing that we are more mixed that what we want to believe. Science cannot be stop.

Also this one of the hottest woman but this one the worst pictures I have seen of her.

        • justme says:

Read those studies. They are showing that most white and african americans are not 100%. Not all just most. That means that they are people who are 100%.
I know more studies are more coming out.
If the Nazis were alive do you think they are going to waste their time looking at the size of you head? They just go directly to the DNA test and many white americans may not pass. Do you have studies made in white european population?

    • luluz says:

lol but i guess she has more white blood in her like 75-85% cuz the average mestiza girls i see everyday don’t look like her.

      • truescience says:

True. For example actress Carol Channing,Trioan Bellisario,Michael Fosberg are famous people whose one parent that was black and the other one white.Look at them they are white.Craig Cobb just discovet that he have african DNA(14%).You can have until a certain percentage and look white and have white kids.Unless you a recent immigrant you might have african, jewish or native blood.

Or either you are naive or just born yesterday. So I can sell you a brdge in Brooklyn. Please get study that can be verify or that belong to the US govenment.Even if you have to pay for that.

          • truescience says:

More studies are coming out. The reason we do those studies is for Health Issues. What I am showing you is hard to find on Internet but if you go the library or the The National Center for Biotechnology Information. I get it because I work in the health area.English is not my language. You will find alot of fake studies on the internet.I can show you another one. By the way the names that are between are the names of the researcher and the year the study was made. The second one is recopilation of many studies. You can look white, black, asian or mestizo but it is your genes that can decide certain type of illness. That is they are important. Stop trying to make racist comments.

coz they have mixed-race parents, not black. If you mix a full black person with a white one, you won’t have a white looking kid
About Cobb, we must be very careful with these sensational news, media are alwais hungry of this stuff, they don’t mind if it’s true or not (once they said Hitler had African genes too)

I did some searches about in Portuguese concerning Adriana Lima on Google, Bing, and Yahoo, and several Brazilian blogs and websites also write that Adriana Lima has Japanese ancestry (ascendência japonesa).

It does not necessarily make it true – these Brazilian blogs and websites may be just reporting what Lima herself has said – but, on the other hand, it cannot be dismissed out of hand.

Besides Adriana Lima, a number of Brazilian models, including one of the world’s leading male models, Marlon Teixeira (1/2 Portuguese, 1/4 Amerindian, 1/4 Japanese), are part Japanese. Teixeira’s Japanese ancestry has been widely reported in Brazilian blogs and websites:

    http://www.malemodelscene.net/models/marlon-teixeira/

    http://www.fotolog.com/womans_club/14601143/

    http://flaviotenguan.blogspot.com/2013/07/x-tremely-top-dia-32-marlon-teixeira.html

Their Japanese family names immediately give away the Japanese ancestry of Brazilian models Aline Nakashima (she appeared in the 2006 and 2007 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition issues) and Juliana Imai:

    http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/vault/swimsuit/model/aline_nakashima/

    http://www.supermodels.nl/julianaimai

On the other hand, the Portuguese surname of Brazilian model Stefani Medeiros gives no hint of her actual heritage, which is 1/2 Italian and 1/2 Japanese:

    http://www.fashionmodeldirectory.com/models/Stefani_Medeiros/

    http://www.bellazon.com/main/topic/12849-stefani-medeiros/

By the way, what happened to Stefani Medeiros? She was a teenage sensation in Brazil several years ago.

Here are some photo shoots from 2012 and 2013 of a grownup Stefani Medeiros:

    http://www.bellazon.com/main/topic/12849-stefani-medeiros/page-4

She may not be a household name (yet) in the English-speaking world, but especially in her native Argentina (Brazil’s next-door neighbor), much of Hispanic America, Brazil, Spain, Italy, Israel, etc., model, actress, singer, and dancer Eugenia Suárez aka China Suárez (born María Eugenia Suárez Riveiro on March 9, 1992 in Buenos Aires, Argentina) enjoys fame. She frequently mentions her late Japanese maternal grandmother (making Suárez one quarter Japanese):

    http://www.noticiascadadia.com/noticia/30401-maria-eugenia-suarez-nunca-digas-que-nunca-pero-hoy-no-participaria-en-bailando/

(Eugenia Suárez’s nickname “China,” among other thing, comes from her being part Japanese, her “Chinese looking eyes,” “China” being much shorter to say than “Japonesa,” and the general confusion of all “Asians” – i.e., East Asians and Southeast Asians – being “Chinese.”)

In homage to her late Japanese grandmother, Eugenia Suárez has “Japanese Blood” (yes, it is in English) tattooed on the back of her neck:

Look at how many followers she has on Twitter:

As of the date and time of this comment, Eugenia “China” Suárez has 1,120, 241 followers on Twitter.
