Robert Cummings was an American actor. His films include Three Smart Girls Grow Up, The Under-Pup, Rio, Everything Happens at Night, Charlie McCarthy, Detective, The Devil and Miss Jones, Moon Over Miami, Saboteur, Princess O’Rourke, Heaven Only Knows, Marry Me Again, Dial M for Murder, Beach Party, The Carpetbaggers, and Five Golden Dragons. He was also known as Bob Cummings, Blade Stanhope Conway, and Bryce Hutchens.

Robert was the son of Ruth Annabelle, an ordained minister of the Science of Mind, and philanthropist, and Dr. Charles Clarence Cummings, a surgeon. He was married to Martha Burzynski, until his death. He had five children with his former wife, actress Mary Elliott; and two children with his former wife Gina Fong.

Robert’s paternal grandfather was William Riley Cummings (the son of Charles Cummins and Delilah Rhodes). William was born in Indiana. Delilah was the daughter of William Rhoads.
