Longoria’s Spanish ancestry can be traced back to her ninth great-grandfather Lorenzo Suarez de Longoria born Oviedo in 1592, who arrived in the New World in 1603, traced back even further to a small village called Llongoria, Belmonte de Miranda, Asturias, Spain. Longoria is the Castilian spelling. A television series ‘Faces of America’ reveiled that she is 70% European, 27% Asian/indigenous, and 3% African.

She once said that her sisters were light skin and white, and that she was made fun of for being dark. Like most Mexicans she is probably mixed with white (Spanish) and Native American. I’m guessing she takes more after her native heritage and her sisters take more after their white heritage.

That’s what i thought southern Mexico because of her dark looks but she claims a spanish ancestor of hers settle in the northern mexican city of Monterrey but i guess that’s on her fathers side of the family
