Charli XCX is a British singer, songwriter, record producer, and music video director.
She is the daughter of Shameera (Manji), a nurse and flight attendant, and Jon Aitchison, an entrepreneur and show booker. Her father is of Scottish origin. Her mother, who is from Uganda, is of Gujarati Indian descent. Charli was raised in Start Hill, Essex.
Charli has said:
I grew up around people throwing the word Paki around… And they’d be like, ‘Oh, we’re going to the Paki shop,’ like a corner shop or whatever. I personally think that’s really racist. A lot of people I knew would throw that term around, and it would always upset me, not because I’m Pakistani, but just because I thought it was really wrong. And my mom actually once had an incident where she was getting out of her car in broad daylight, in the middle of our town, and these guys went past her on a bicycle and threw a milkshake at her and called her a Paki. She was so upset, as she would be. But that’s nothing to some things that happen.

Middle eastern people look completely different and she doesn’t have an ounce of middle eastern in her. Travel across europe and you’ll see plenty of girls with her look.
You might want to give some thought, that maybe those girls that look like her aren’t full European. Europe has a long history with many different people in it.
Perhaps it’s you that needs to travel across the Middle East and the Caucasus (especially Iran and Armenia) and you will also see plenty of girls with her look. Nobody is disputing that she is white-passing, but saying “She looks and is white, I know because I’m white and (I think) Middle Easterners look totally different so that makes her pure white, end of story…” is too simplistic. If you knew your ‘race’ that well, you would also know that the vast majority of the Middle East are not considered a separate ‘race,’ if you believe in the concept of race. I’m not exactly sure what it is that you think Middle Eastern people look like to say that they look ‘completely different.’ That area of the world is much more diverse than you give them credit for, but the reality is that if you compared her to the vast majority of mainland Europeans, and the average Lebanese/Persian/Armenian/etc, she would easily fit in much better with the latter group, skin color aside (or not, many people from that area can be pale as well.)
But you were right about one thing. She doesn’t have “an ounce of Middle Eastern in her.” Her mother is INDIAN.

sorry to break it to you but shes not white. Her father is extremely pale with blonde hair, she has most of her moms features except skin color. She is a mixed race woman, will never be white. White is not the dominant race.

Yes I agree with you Andrew to a certain extent, but I know she could pass as Maltese, Sicilian, Southern Italian and maybe even Greek? Because I have a friend from Malta whose daughter looks just like Charli XCX.
Maltese are on average more exotic than Southern Italians and Greeks, who look often similar. Sicilians are just Southern Italians.
My friend’s daughter is also part Italian, English and her dad’s ydna line is halogroup G he traces his origins to South Ossetia. LOL
I agree she doesn’t look indian, charli has paler skin and lighter hair then marina and marina is greek, I thought charli was french!
