Rob Cantor is an American singer and songwriter, particularly known as a comedy musician. His songs include “Shia LaBeouf” and “Old Bike.” He has created many viral videos, including “29 Celebrity Impressions, 1 Original Song.” He was a vocalist, guitarist, and co-writer for indie rock band Tally Hall. He has written music for several Disney shows.

His father is a gynecologist. Rob had a Bar Mitzvah ceremony. He was based in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Rob is married to Allison Kurtzer.

Rob’s paternal grandfather was Herbert Clive Cantor (the son of Morris Cantor and Miriam Lorraine Starman). Herbert was from a Jewish family. Rob’s maternal grandfather was Lawrence Conrad Hoff (the son of Conrad Hoff and Katherine Maria Lindegren). Lawrence was born in Fresno, California, to an ethnic German family from Russia. Rob’s great-grandfather Conrad was born in Russia, the son of Konrad Hoff and Marie Elizabeth Weitzel. Katherine was the daughter of Russian-born parents, Jacob Lindegren and Mary Katherine Schmidt.

Rob’s maternal grandmother was Jacqueline Goodyear (the daughter of Frederick Dumont Goodyear, Jr. and Marion Sawin). Jacqueline was born in Peoria, Illinois. Frederick was the son of Frederick Dumont Goodyear and Blanche Sargent, whose mother was German. Marion was the daughter of Kenneth Collins Sawin and Florence Myrtle Thompson, whose father was Irish. Kenneth’s sixth great-grandfather, Phillip Delano, was of French Huguenot descent.
