His uncle, Leo Posada, was a professional baseball player. Jorge is married to model, actress, and attorney Laura Mendez, with whom he has two children. He is Catholic.

You are correct. It is possible than from his mother’s side he may have some Arab ancestry. There are a lot of Arab people in the Dominican Republic and many look like Jorge.
