Adriana Lima is a Brazilian model and actress. She was a Victoria’s Secret Angel from 1999 to 2018. She has also worked for Maybelline cosmetics, clothing brand Desigual, the Beachwear collection of Italian brand Calzedonia, the ready-to-wear collection of Italian brand Sportmax, IWC, Puma, and Chopard. She has been the world’s second highest-paid model. She is 5′10″.
Adriana is the daughter of Maria das Graças Lima, a social worker, and Nelson Torres, a carpenter. She was raised in Castelo Branco, Salvador, by her mother. Adriana has two children with her former husband, Serbian professional basketball player Marko Jarić; and a son with her partner, film producer Andre Lemmers.
Adriana’s maternal grandfather was named Bertoldo Fontes Lima.

agree, brazil has the highest number of epopel of african descent outside of nigeria….think about it people in the 1500s and 1600s when there were just africans and portuguese and maybe amerindians (although they kept themselves separate and/or were killed off ) who do you think were procreating together????

Im so confused how in this day and age people don’t understand that being mixed with Black does not mean you come out looking African…are you serious anything mixed with black tends to look the most exotiv becase you can have any color, hari,lip etc combination in the rainbow? Im thinking of all the yellow/tan/cream,white green-eyed,racially confused looking black people Ive seen in America!! Brazil has been racially mixing since the first portuguese came over with millions of african slaves-literally it was just them and the indians if they don’t look like american mixed black folks it’s becasue they’re not the same exact mixture (hence N/America had diff. european groups and native americans than say south america) …don’t you think by now they’d have their own racial look regardless of their ancestors…I honestly think it’s those 2 races and the AmerIndians that give Brazilians the exotic look that you can’t find anywhere else.
And what the hell does a black mixed person look like- because I automatically assume 9 times out of 10 if you’re a brazilian you clearly have either portuguese or African in you or if you stay long enough you’ll marry into a family that does. type up brazilian people on the internet look at the pictures and you’ll see Brazilians do not look like that german immigrant Giselle Bundchen and others.alicia keys,amel larrieux,amerie, halle berry, lenny kravitz (check out his daughter chloe), and stacy Dash (her mixed children too) are all mixed but considered black and look nothing african or even “black”. I find it interesting how non black people can’t tell when someone is mixed with black, but ask a black person and they can tell, its a combination of skin tones, lips, hair texture everything.

Hispanic means of Spain, which means spain conquered and possibly raped and mixed in with other places in latin america. Spain also conquered some countries in the carribean and gave some carribean countries their last names and told them you must speak their language. Puerto Rico is Taino indian, Spaniard and African for the most part. The Dominican Republic is the same although, no matter how light or dark a lot of hispanics may not want to admit it. Even with their hair texture. Secondly, Portugal is 300 years older than Spain, so how did spain dominate Portugal. They are both on the Iberian Peninsula, but totally different countries. My Portuguese elders schooled me on this. And so did books. I am mixed also. just like Adrian. just because a country is in latin america, doesn’t make that whole country “LATINO”. Haiti and Guyana are also in latin america. There are 5 dialects in latin. Portuguese, Spanish, French, Italian, and Romanian. Although they’re all beautiful countries. they may sound a little similar, all are very different in language, culture, and background. Those European countries, are the true latins. Everyone else is just watered down. There is a difference between Latino and hispanic. Brazil may be a latino country just like haiti and guyana, but none of them are spanish speaking or of Spain wether anyone likes or not. Its ok to be proud of your cultures, but stop stealing others, especially when it was here 300 years before Spain.

Look andrelis, nelly furtado was born in Canada, she lost contact with the portuguese culture and she doesn’t even speak proper portuguese. Nothing wrong with her considering herself hyspanic (of course she does, she even made a whole album in SPANISH.)
