Laura Osnes is an American singer and actress.

Laura is the daughter of Jane and Russell Osnes. She was raised in Eagan, Minnesota. Laura is married to Nathan Johnson.

Her father is of Norwegian ancestry. Her mother is of half German and half English, descent.

Laura’s paternal grandfather was Russell Ellsworth Osnes (the son of John T. Osnes and Barbara Pederson). John was born in Iowa, to Norwegian parents. Barbara was also born in Iowa, the daughter of Norwegian parents, Hans Matthias Pederson/Pedersen and Jacobia Olene Hansine Sackerson/Zachariasdatter.

Laura’s paternal grandmother was Ardell Bresdahl/Brosdal (the daughter of Carl Thomas Brosdal and Alvina/Elvina Tonnetta Tweed). Carl was born in Iowa, the son of Norwegian parents, Jorgen J. Brosdal and Thone/Theone Felland. Alvina was born in Iowa, the daughter of Olav/Ole Jonson Tweed, from Nissedal, Telemark County, Norway, and of Annie Ramsey, whose parents were from Aust-Agder and Telemark Counties, Norway.

Laura’s maternal grandfather was Arthur Raduechel (the son of William Fredrich Raduechel and Elsie Elizabeth “Lizzie” Drueger/Krueger). William was born in Nebraska, to parents from Pomerania, Prussia (now Germany), Carl Raduechel and Henrietta Schmidt. Elsie was also born in Nebraska, to a father from Germany, William Krueger, and to a mother from Wisconsin, Anna, whose parents were also German.

Laura’s maternal grandmother was Julia Ann Patterson (the daughter of Laurence/Lawrence Arthur Patterson and Daisy Bell/Belle Rathbun). Julia was born in Iowa. Laurence was the son of Arthur M. Patterson and Mary F. Clements.
