Guido Westerwelle was a German politician. He served as Vice Chancellor of Germany, from 28 October, 2009 to 16 May 2011, and Minister of Foreign Affairs, from 28 October, 2009 to 17 December, 2013, as well as, as Leader of the Free Democratic Party, from 4 May, 2001 to 13 May, 2011, Leader of the Opposition, from 1 May, 2006 to 22 October, 2009, and Leader of the Free Democratic Party in the Bundestag, from 1 May, 2006 to 22 October, 2009.

Guido was the son of Erika and Heinz Westerwelle.
