Yves-François Blanchet is a Canadian politician. He has served as Leader of the Bloc Québécois, since January 17, 2019, and a Member of the Canadian Parliament for Beloeil—Chambly (QC), since October 21, 2019. He has also been Member of the National Assembly of Québec, from December 8, 2008 to April 7, 2014.
He is the son of Pierrette Bédard and Raymond Blanchet. He is married to Nancy Déziel.
Yves-François’s paternal grandfather was Andre Blanchet (the son of Francois Blanchet and Leontine Milliard). Andre was born in St-Pacôme, Québec. Francois was the son of Pierre Blanchet and Marcelline D’Anjou. Leontine was the daughter of Prudent Milliard and Delphine Ouellet.
Yves-François’s paternal grandmother was Josephine Beaulieu (the daughter of Pierre Beaulieu and Delphine Lavoie). Josephine was born in Saint-Louis, Kamouraska, Québec. Pierre was the son of Georges Beaulieu and Rosalie Paradis. Delphine was the daughter of Jean-Baptiste Lavoie and Demerise Thibault.

Yves-François’s maternal grandmother was Jeannette Robidoux (the daughter of Francois Robidoux and Eva Labrecque). Yves-Francois’s great-grandfather Francois was the son of Joseph Robidoux and Marie-Ursule Dubreuil. Eva was the daughter of Thomas Labrecque and Marie-Desanges Bisson.
