    Madman posted a pic of Rice and his mother which was shown on Project Runway. This should be included his profile.

      Can you see if I got his maternal g-parents right?

      • madman says:

        Her mother has friends named Pambianchi on Facebook, but I couldn’t find any direct link to the couple in your link. That record is from 1938, and Santino’s mother was born in 1947 though, that’s quite a gap. But then, Santino’s middle name being Quinto would back up that they are related.

        Quinto was of Italian descent, but I haven’t found Alda anywhere. Her surname is Italian of course, but does Santino have any African-American ancestry then?

        • bablah says:

          If they had multiple children, then 9 year gap isn’t relevant.

          If he does have African-American ancestry, it has to be through his father, since his mother is white.

            I’m not sure if Catherine had any older siblings. The ones who I suspect could be her siblings are younger.

            The source that even mentioned his ethnicity in the first place says that his mother is of African-American and Italian descent. So if that’s not true, I would throw the whole African-American thing into consideration completely.

            “His mother, who still lives in the house that Rice grew up in on Fifth Street, is half African American and half Italian. His father, who lives in Wright City, is partly Jewish and Native America, among other things.”

            Are you sure his mother is only White? This picture came up when I googled Santino Rice mother:

            @madman

            I must have confused his mother with someone else. It’s been awhile since I looked into his profile.
