Meg Foster is an American actress. Her roles include the films Ticket to Heaven, The Osterman Weekend, and They Live, and the mini-series The Scarlet Letter. She is known for her piercing light-blue eyes.

Meg is the daughter of Nancy and David Foster.

Meg’s paternal grandfather was David Gray Foster (the daughter of Dr. Walter Ross Foster and Rachael Gray). David was born in Pennsylvania, and was of mostly Scots-Irish/Northern Irish. Walter was the son of David Foster, whose parents were from Northern Ireland, and of Elizabeth Ross. Rachael was the daughter of Joseph Hughey Gray and Mary Kuhn.

Meg’s paternal grandmother was Margaret E. Wilson (the daughter of George W. Wilson and Margaret Jane Neel). Meg’s grandmother Margaret was born in Pennsylvania. George was the son of Samuel Wilson and Nancy Ann Tedrow, whose own mother was from Ireland.

Meg’s maternal grandfather was Percy Adamson (the son of James Adamson and Eliza Ann Holding). Percy was an English emigrant from Adlington, Cheshire. Eliza was from Lancashire, the daughter of Seth Holding and Elizabeth Crook.

Meg’s maternal grandmother was Lillian Dutton (the daughter of Thomas Andrew Dutton and Hannah Brough). Lillian was an English emigrant, from Horwich, Lancashire. Thomas was the son of Thomas Dutton and Esther Peak. Hannah was the daughter of William Brough and Mary Stagg.
