Las Ketchup was a Spanish family pop girl group. They are known for their song “The Ketchup Song (Aserejé).” They were founded by flamenco producer, Manuel “Queco” Ruiz, in 2002, and consist of sisters Pilar Muñoz, Lola Muñoz, Lucía Muñoz, and, previously, Rocio Muñoz. They represented Spain in the Eurovision Song Contest 2006, placing 21st. Their father is guitarist Juan Manuel Muñoz Expósito, known as “El Tomate”/”The Tomato.”
Las Ketchup’s paternal grandfather was Manuel Muñoz Méndez (the son of Juan Muñoz Palomino and María Méndez Beltrán). Juan was the son of Francisco Muñoz Castro, and of a woman surnamed Palomino.
Las Ketchup’s paternal grandmother was named Luisa/Pilar Expósito Muñoz (the daughter of parents surnamed Expósito and Muñoz).
