Karen Harding is a British singer and songwriter. She is known for her single “Say Something.”

Her father, Roger Harding, is English, as well as of one eighth Cornish, ancestry. Her mother, Nenita “Nita” Fortin Mandilag, is Filipino. Her parents owned an Asian food store, where she worked in her youth. One of her first recordings was the anti-racism song “Strange Fruit,” originally sung by Billie Holiday.

Karen’s patrilineal ancestry can be traced back to her sixth great-grandfather, William Kisser.

Karen’s paternal grandfather was Roy Keith Kisser (later Harding, the son of Leonard George Harding Kisser and Evelyn Tandy). Roy was born in Newton Abbot, Devon. Leonard was the son of George Kisser and Kate Mersh. Evelyn was the daughter of George Tandy and Wilmot Quick Dunstan, who was from Towednack, Cornwall.

Karen’s paternal grandmother is Delphine Parker (the daughter of Herbert George Parker and Irene May Davis). Delphine was born in Lanchester, County Durham. Herbert was the son of Robert Parker and Margaret Alice Thompson. Irene was the daughter of Samuel Henry Davis and Emma English.

    Specify Sambal as part of her Filipino ancestry. Judging by her look, she looks that she is part Aeta (also of Filipino ethnicity) from her mother’s side since Aetas live on the mountains of Zambales, including the municipalities of Candelaria and Iba, though it is not clear if her mother is indeed at least part Aeta. I haven’t seen at least a pic of her mother yet.

    I also noticed that PrPhotos is now gone.
