Joe Pantoliano is an American actor. His roles include the films Risky Business, The Final Terror, The Goonies, La Bamba, Empire of the Sun, The Fugitive, the Bad Boys franchise, Bound, U.S. Marshals, The Matrix, Memento, and Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief, and the series M*A*S*H, Hill Street Blues, NYPD Blue, The Sopranos, and Sense8. He is also known as Joey Pantoliano and Joey Pants.

Joe is the son of Mary, a bookie and seamstress, and Dominic Pantoliano, a factory foreman and hearse driver. He was raised partly in Cliffside Park, New Jersey. He is married to model Nancy Sheppard, with whom he has four children.

Joe’s paternal grandfather was Peter/Pietro Pantoliano (the son of Joseph Pantoliano and Maria Tarterra). Peter was from Monte San Giacomo, Campania, Italy.
