Clive Owen is an English actor. His roles include Chancer, Close My Eyes, Croupier, Gosford Park, King Arthur (2004), Closer, Frank Miller’s Sin City, Derailed, Inside Man, Children of Men, Shoot ‘Em Up, Killer Elite, Hemingway & Gellhorn, The Knick, The Song of Names, Lisey’s Story, and American Crime Story: Impeachment.

Clive is the son of Pamela and Jonh I. “Jess” Owen, a country and western performer. His surname is often Welsh, but it is unclear if he has Welsh ancestry. He is married to actress Sarah-Jane Fenton, with whom he has two children.

Clive’s maternal grandfather’s surname was Cotton.

    His father married his mother under the name John I. Owen, so I’m guessing “Jess” is just a stage name.

    American eugenicists and racists would claim he isn´t true english because he should look like “nordic” blonde and fair eyes lol Interesting that it is like the same the germans nazis did decades ago, even though they had to abbandon the notion of blonde aryan since their Führer had dark hair
