Britney is the daughter of Lynne Irene (Bridges) and James Parnell “Jamie” Spears. She is the sister of film and television producer Bryan Spears and actress and singer Jamie Lynn Spears. She has two children with her former husband, dancer, rapper, model, and actor Kevin Federline.
Britney’s maternal grandmother was an English war bride, and one of Britney’s maternal great-great-grandfathers was Maltese. Britney’s grandmother Lilian was born in Barkham Road, Tottenham. George was the son of Edward Richard Portelli, who was from Malta, and of Alice Taylor. Britney’s great-grandmother Lilian was the daughter of James Lewis and Esther Moss. Britney’s Maltese great-great-grandfather Edward was the son of Antonio Portelli; it is possible that Edward was of Italian ancestry, like many people on Malta.

“Color” lines drawn in Slavery still exist, they’re meant to divide people by physical traits & are rooted in hatred, not “ethnicity”.
“Ethnicities” which would make someone “colored” or “black” are those rooted in Africa or/and African Disapora.
Most Americans, despite their light complexions have a relative or more of African ancestry or/and African Disapora….such as Sicilian, Maltese, Caribbean (Puerto Rican, Jamaican, Cuban, etc.) & the list goes on & on.
We are all beautiful. It is amazing to me how this “system” of hatred still divides people. African Disapora is the largest “ethnicity” in America!

LOL…what the hell are you talking about! Sicilians are not “black”, although like other mediterranean peoples they have dark hair and olive complexions. But you must have taken to heart Dennis Hopper’s speech in True Romance, and fed into the stereotype that because Sicily had been invaded by Moors (a north african people closer related to arabs than black africans) they’re black. Although I can’t speak for ever single Sicilian, I am pretty sure for the most part Sicilians are still part of the caucasian race….just like spaniards, greeks, and any other european country that borders on the mediterranean sea. Moors, for the most part, were based in Spain and at one point pushed all the way up to central France (but no one calls French people “black”). Moors didn’t come here to inhabit or colonize. Europe, including Sicily, were military objectives to stem the tide of Christianity. And if anyone knows the historical/cultural history of Sicily, they’d know that Sicilians were notorious for holding all invaders in contempt and would never mix with them. The exception would be Greeks since they inhabited and colonized most of eastern Sicily. Nevertheless, to say that because someone is Sicilian that they might have black in them is ludicrous. No more credible than saying Spaniards and Frenchmen have black roots; or Greeks have Turkish and Moorish roots since they too were controlled at some point by the Moors and then the Ottoman Empire (Turks). This is not a defense to what you’re saying and I’m not implying that it is an insult or a negative thing to be “black”. That would be racist and I’m not a racist. But fact is fact, and not to sound touchy or defensive, but I can’t tolerate negative innuendo and stereotypes being confused for fact. I mean my roots are part Sicilian and part Neopolitan (Naples) and both sides of my family have light hair, light complexions, and either hazel, green, or light brown eyes with wavy hair.
In any event, I’m not sure any Italian (Sicilian or otherwise) would be too damn proud of some trailer trash hick from the heart of the deep south might share some of the same roots. But then again, I’d only being feeding into the negative stereotypes of the American South being a region of dumb, uneducated, incestuous, redneck hicks that the rest of the country look upon with contempt and ridicule. And I’m not like that.

Oh Dear.. Her main close ancestry is English, She has family in London and even calls England her second home.
Britney even stated that if she did not have to stay in America because of her divorce, she would of moved to England and set up house in London, because of the higher standards of living and because they don’t judge you there, like Americans do. The majority of English people are not even Anglo Saxon. It is a misused term. All Europeans are very close genetically so by your definition no one is white.
North Africans aren’t black. I know many Egyptians and Moraccans who are white. They are part of the middle east and many middle easterners are white. North Africans have the same ancestry and DNA as southern Europeans. And YES, southern Europeans are white with pale skin, but necessarily with blonde hair and blue eyes.
