    Lima is a very common lastname in Spain, Portugal and Latin America, She’s Native Indian with Portuguese = Mestiza. In Latin America is very common to see mixed races like Natives Indians+Spanish/Germans/Frenchs/Italians etc etc it’s called: MESTIZOS!!

  2. me says:

    I think it’s a lie that she is descended from Swiss and Japanese, because she is a poor family in the Brazilian state of Bahia (where most blacks in Brazil) and there are no reports of Swiss and Japanese immigration in Bahia. Surely it must be a descendant of Native Americans, Africans and Portuguese.

    you fucking RACIST people are sooo fucking insecure its outrages lol. You people remind of the full breds in my school who kept telling me i had to choose which side to be on. full black people ALWAYS wanna take credit for somthing that they only parcially created. im sorry but its true, shes not full black shes half like me. stop telling people what they have to be

      hmmm, maybe you shouldn’t stereotype others by using “always” to describe how certain people react to something. and, there is no such thing as “full black” or full anything. after all, it seems counterproductive to stereotype others when you obviously are a victim of stereotypes.

    • ashley says:

      Who are you screaming at and why. I do not see anything where BLACKS are taking all the credit . Calm down not that serious she consider herself Afrolatino aND i AM TIRED of whites like you screaming racism and there isnt any .

  5. Addy says:

    Also west indian is a “black” race also, so she’s majorly black. Her race really shouldn’t be an issue.
    Now Megan Fox, she’s gorgeous, she’s an example of someone who is mixed with black like most white Americans.
    M.Fox=mixed like white Americans
    A.Lima=mixed like black Americans
    Simple.
    Americans will probably never fully understand how things work in other countries. In many countries, a person may be called “white” in a much more literal form as in having white skin, some people are even considered “brown”. America is the main country that labels “white”&”black” by features. Obviously because it has a much more racist history.

    • Andy says:

      Addy, you idiot. West indian is not “Black” at all. Don’t try to force a color on people that are diverse, and different than what people would normally consider people of African ancestry.

      • Ron Ng says:

        West Indian is more often than not, a mixture of African and indigenous blood. Lima is considered “white” in her native Brazil. Only Black and White Americans feel the psychotic need to label people black, even if the black ancestor in question dates back to antiquity.

        • Dasher says:

          Since when is Megan Fox black? O_o

        • ThinkBig says:

          Not true at all. True, these labels exist in America, but they also exist all over the world. It’s called demography and census. Else, we wouldn’t know that Brazil has a “black” population of 7.61%, a “brown” population of43%, and a “white” population of 41%. Speaking of Brazil and what Lima would be labeled in her native country, they base their racial classifications off of skin tone. Socially speaking, the darker the skin, the lower the people find themselves on the economic and social ladder. This is not an opinion, but a fact, which is true in most countries with diverse populations. It’s also known that some of these people that you mention with black ancestry that “dates back to antiquity” hide that fact so that they can ascend up that social ladder. So to say that only black and white americans “label people black even when that ancestor in question dates back to antiquity” is way off base because if other countries don’t do the same verbally, they do it subconsciously and ingrain it into their class structure. Just saying.

          • midori29 says:

            This is true “Think Big” its off off skin tone which is NOT accurate. In my Carribean country we do not label on skin tone because there are midnight black dravidians from India mixed into the black African descent population who are considered caucasian which makes actual “black” categories alot more diverse. So one can be caucasian and African and still be Alek Wek Sudanese black. Its further not accurate to label a light skinned black person as mullato and a dark skinned black person as just black because they both can have an equal amount of admixture and both can be brother and sister.

          • fuzzybear44 says:

            @midori29

            There are millions of black African Caucasoid .The funny thing about Caucasian,it’s actually just a phenotype( It had nothing to do with skin color).However since people have been taught that white and Caucasian/Caucasoid equal the same thing ,fine..Now as I brought up about the Arabs,your labeled Caucasian even if not Caucasian.That’s the policy that in effect,I don’t know why(well I have a good idea ).I’m pretty sure it’s the same with the Dravidians(although many of them are actually Caucasoid) phenotype wise.

      • ThinkBig says:

        Actually, according to the vast majority of the anthropological/science community, people of african ancestry(no matter how minute it may be) are the most diverse people on the planet genetically and aesthetically because they have been around the longest.
