Ti West is an American film director, producer, screenwriter, editor, cinematographer, and actor. Known for his work in the horror genre, he has directed the films The Roost, Trigger Man, The House of the Devil, Cabin Fever 2: Spring Fever, The Innkeepers, The Sacrament, In a Valley of Violence, X, and Pearl (2022); he has written all of his own films, except for Cabin Fever 2, for which he is credited under co-story by, and Pearl, which he co-wrote. He has also directed episodes of the shows Wayward Pines, Chambers, Soundtrack, and Them. His acting roles include the films You’re Next, Silver Bullets, and Drinking Buddies.

Ti is the son of Noreen and Buz West.

Ti’s maternal grandfather was Patrick Joseph Timon (the son of Patrick Timon and Mary Conlon). Ti’s grandfather Patrick was born in Jersey City, New Jersey. Ti’s great-grandfather Patrick was born in Castlerea, County Roscommon, Ireland, the son of Edward Timon and Maria Beirne. Ti’s great-grandmother Mary was from Killucan, County Westmeath, Ireland.
