Not all Puerto Ricans have African blood only a small percentage do like any place in the world. Most Puerto Ricans are white.

And Mr.Coolz… If you got your facts straight you would know that when the europeans captured the Africans they colonized in America as well the caribe and west indian islands. So yes puerto ricans do have african in them as well as many of the ethnicities from north and south america including all of the surrounding islands. However, none of that matter because there is no genetic difference between the Races (nor ethnicities) the only difference between us all is skin deep.

SOME puerto ricans have african blood in them, the common mistake people (mostly Americans, i’m not dissing Americans because i myself am American) seem to make about these Latin American countries is that because of the diversity everyone in them must be the same thing. Which is far from the truth, America is as diverse as Brazil or Puerto Rico, is everyone in America black? no they are not.
98% of Argentina is European, Spaniard & Italian to be exact, Puerto Rico & Brazil also have a decent amount of Caucasians, most of the Caucasians in Brazil are either Italian, Portuguese, or German many of the models and or actors that come out of Brazil like Alessandra Ambrosio, or Rodrigo Santoro, Lucas Malvacini are ethnicaly Italian.
So just because someone is “Puerto Rican” does not make them Black or White ethnicaly.

You say some PR’s have African blood.I think your belittling the contributions of that bloodline.I’ve read a number of reports stating that having black traits are looked down on,and how People from there will go out their way to deny that heritage(thats what the reports are saying not me).However with the people on this site alone,that seems to be the case(my opinion).Now from the evidence I given it’s 1 in 3 have African heritage,and only 1 in 12 have European,I’ve given this infro before.Now as America goes, they say 1 in 3 white people(not caucasian,because that word does “NOT” mean you white)has recent black heritage,and it growing.
Also people please lets this sink in.Saying you have recent black heritage is “NOT” saying your a black person,and I repeat “NOT” saying your a black person.All it means is that someone in your family maybe less than 200yrs ago was a black person.It (DOESN’T) make you one.So Please would you guys stop crying (I’m not black,or you trying to turn everybody black)
Now you mention Argentina being 98% European,I don’t think that’s right.Anyhow let me give a little history lesson about that place.I have to give them credit,they were very smart about this.They freed all their slaves,but made most of the black men join the army,sending them to fight and die.Most of the rest of the men died from sickness.Which left the women,whom they took and got busy with getting rid of the visible trait.All this happen less than 200yrs ago
Now in Brazil,according to reports and what I read the even the Whites(not caucasian)has at least 10% African heritage.Now I didn’t write the reports,I’m only stating what I read.

No, practicaly all of Argentina is Caucasian straight from Spain & Italy, there are literaly no blacks there, there is a small metizo population like 2% and thats it. Its as white in Argentina as it is in any other European country infact places like France have an even bigger minority of Non-caucasians then Argentina does which goes to show you not everyone is South America have black heritage.
The point is DON’T be ridiculous, don’t claim countries that have as much diversity as America as being “One thing” they are not and will never be, they have groups of different people just like America does.
Brazil has Italian communities of FULL Italians, Brazil also has communites that are Full German, Full Spaniard etc etc Just like America does. Your assumption that people are “Mixed” because they are multicultural is just that a RIDICULOUS one because that would also make an American like say Britney Spears mexican or half black since there are many of blacks and mexicans in America? no it doesn’t work like that in America and it doesn’t work like that in any other Multicultural country.

I could show you a few about Argentina black history,and I didn’t get my information from Wiki.I got mine from history books and my professors.I don’t know where you got yours from.Also I didn’t say everyone one in South America has recent African heritage.
