Ti West is an American film director, producer, screenwriter, editor, cinematographer, and actor. Known for his work in the horror genre, he has directed the films The Roost, Trigger Man, The House of the Devil, Cabin Fever 2: Spring Fever, The Innkeepers, The Sacrament, In a Valley of Violence, and the trilogy X, Pearl (2022), and MaXXXine; he has written all of his own films, except for Cabin Fever 2, for which he is credited under co-story by, and Pearl, which he co-wrote. He has also directed episodes of the shows Wayward Pines, Chambers, Soundtrack, and Them, and the music video for “No Angels.” His acting roles include the films You’re Next, Silver Bullets, and Drinking Buddies.

Ti is the son of Noreen and Buz West. He has a son with his fiancée, Australian electronic dance music producer, DJ, and singer Alison Wonderland.

Ti’s paternal grandfather was Ernest A. West (the son of Abraham L. West and Lydia/Liddie J. Hastings). Ernest was born in Delaware. Abraham was born in Delaware, the son of Hewitt Wilmore West and Mary Ann King. Lydia was born in Delaware, the daughter of Solomon Thomas Hastings and Matilda Ann Rogers.
