Soraya Sáenz de Santamaría is a Spanish politician. She served as the Deputy Prime Minister of Spain and Minister of the Presidency, both from 21 December, 2011 to 1 June, 2018, as well as as Spokesperson of the Government, from 21 December, 2011 to 3 November, 2016, and as Minister for Territorial Administrations, from 3 November, 2016 to 7 June, 2018, among other duties.
Her father, Pedro Sáenz de Santamaria Alonso, was a native of Valladolid. Her mother, Petra Antón Moreno, is a native of Berlanga de Duero, Soria.
Soraya is married to José Iván Rosa Vallejo, with whom she has a son.
