Kris Humphries is an American professional basketball player. He played for the Utah Jazz, the Toronto Raptors, the Dallas Mavericks, the New Jersey/Brooklyn Nets, the Boston Celtics, the Washington Wizards, the Phoenix Suns, and the Atlanta Hawks of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He is 6′9″.
Kris is the son of Debra Jean (Lemke) and William Duane Humphries. His father is African-American. Kris also stated on an episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians that his father’s grandmother was of Irish descent. Kris’s mother, who is white, is of German descent.
Kris’s maternal grandfather was Donald John “Don” Lemke (the son of Herbert August Wilhelm Lemke and Wilhelmina A. “Minnie” Weise). Donald was born in Minnesota. Herbert was the son of August Ferdinand Franz Lemke and Minna Bertha Rosalina Radtke. Wilhelmina was the daughter of Paul George August Weise and Augusta Kuhlmann.
Kris’s maternal grandmother is Darlene A. “Donna” Willemsen (the daughter of Otto W. Willemsen and Magdalena A. “Lena” Feltmann). Darlene was born in Minnesota. Otto was born in Minnesota, the son of German parents, Jacob Hubert Willemsen/Willmsen/Wilmsen/Willmschen, from Vynen, Rhineland, and Hermina/Hermine “Minnie” Meinhart/Maynard. Magdalena was the daughter of Arnold Feltmann and Anna Heimkes.

This is wrong, he is only a 1/4 black while the rest is white. I honestly thought he was full white but turned out to be a 1/4 white.
His dad doesn’t look fully black. He has blue eyes to start with. Are you honestly saying he looks as black as people from ghana or nigeria?
It looks like his father has some white ancestry in him, lots of african americans do anyway. When people said he was half black/half white I always wanted to know how ‘black’ (his pigmentation) the father was. It’s usually a good indicator when the child doesn’t always as mixed as people expect him to. Kris’s father definitely doesn’t fully black, I mean Barack Obama looks more black and he’s only half!
CRAP i reported this by accident!!!! sorry. well what i wanted to say was that noone can choose what traits theyre gunna get, i mean look at leona lewis, she has AMAZING blue eyes and loosely wavy, if someone told me she was 1/4 black i wouldve beleived them. but shes half too either way theyre both beautiful :)

No but the range of colors in the African American population ranges quite a bit. It doesn’t look quite the same as that of people in Ghana or Nigeria does it?
Whats your point, that is because African Americans are mixed with a number of different things, unlike people from Ghana and etc European americans are mixed with a number of different things as well! Alot of Africans are mixing now adays though!
