Jayson Werth is an American professional baseball player. He played as an outfielder in Major League Baseball (MLB), for the Toronto Blue Jays, Los Angeles Dodgers, Philadelphia Phillies, and Washington Nationals.

Jayson is the son of Kim and Jeff Gowan. His father is a record-breaking collegiate baseball and football player. His mother competed in the U.S. Olympic Trials, in the long jump and 100 meters. His uncle, Dick Schofield, is a Major League Baseball player. His stepfather is Major League Baseball player Dennis Werth. Jayson is married, and has two children.
