Alexandra Daddario is an American actress and model. Her brother is actor Matthew Daddario.

Alexandra’s father is of three quarters Italian and one quarter Irish descent. Alexandra’s mother has Hungarian, German, and English ancestry.

Alexandra’s paternal grandfather was Emilio Q. Daddario (Emilio Quincy Daddario, the son of Attilio Dante D’Addario, Sr. and Giovanna/Giovina Ciovacco). Emilio served as a U.S. Congressman from Connecticut, from 1959 to 1971, and was a member of the Democratic Party. Attilio was born in Ofena, Abruzzo, Italy, the son of Antonio D’Addario and Virgilla/Virginia Corradi. Giovanna was born in Loreto Aprutino, Abruzzo, Italy, the daughter of Enrico Ciovacco and Francesca Ioro.

Alexandra’s paternal grandmother was Berenice/Bernice Mary Carbo (the daughter of Antonio/Anthony/Andrew J. Carbo and Henrietta Ann Daley). Antonio was born in Connecticut, of Italian descent. Henrietta was also born in Connecticut, the daughter of Michael Daley, and had Irish ancestry.

Alexandra’s maternal grandfather was George Herman Titus (who was possibly the son of George Ellsworth Titus and Mary E. Beiderman/Beidermann). George Herman Titus was a many-generations American, and had English and German ancestry. George Ellsworth Titus was the son of Lemuel Titus and Susan C. Schockly.

Alexandra’s maternal grandmother was Frieda Anna Szuchy (the daughter of Jacob Szuchy and Anna M. Gondzar). Frieda was born in Pennsylvania, to parents who were immigrants from Hungary.

she looks like a northern italian

visokozen October 9, 2015 at 1:19 am

Well she looks easter european because she has big boobs.

cwm85 September 23, 2015 at 3:29 pm

I think she appears more Italian but she is pretty mixed up with Hungarian, English and German and some Irish. I guess she looks some of western Europe and eastern which is what she is. She has the pale skin of the United kingdom and lighter eyes… darker hair from the Italian and Hungarian side. Cool mix.

J420 November 30, 2015 at 2:05 pm

How do you know that? dark hair is actually common with people of British Isles descent too, so.

athelya December 2, 2015 at 11:42 am

and blue eyes isn’t a rarity in italy either. ah stereotypes..

J420 December 3, 2015 at 1:15 am

Exactly.

hesh123 August 30, 2015 at 1:42 am

So, which ethnicity is responsible for her BIG BOUNCY CAREER?

Kimmel March 6, 2016 at 8:13 am

American Politics.

NextHlywdartistpredictedbypastor May 30, 2015 at 7:35 pm

her hair in Percy Jackson looks like a lot to Kirsten Stewart’s hair mostly in Twilight

ihatemostpeople February 26, 2014 at 2:54 am

I don’t know why you have to put the percentages. Is it to seem pretentious? At the end of the day this bitch is white lmaooo. White people are the only ones who seem to do this shit. They have to list what nationalities they are. You’re white! Who gives a damn if you’re part Irish, Swedish, Italian, whatever the fuck else.

Alice February 26, 2014 at 4:39 am

They are completely different nationalities and countries. Swedish are different than Italian. Should they just be called European? That would be like labelling whether you are Egyptian or Nigerian under the label of African.

They are all completely separate countries and have their own individual looks. This is afterall an ethnicity site and that is why people come on here. To see how much Irish, Polish, Chinese or Kenyan someone is.

Barbara Meek April 24, 2014 at 11:27 am

Thank you, Alice. Well put.

Freerk July 12, 2014 at 5:09 pm

The problem is that there are people who think some people are “whiter” than others …

It helps to see most humans are a wild mixture and nonetheless beautiful. You can’t propagate “white supremacy” any more when you see a picture of Troian Bellisario and look at her ancestry. (At least I hope so …)

On the other hand: I am quite sure, if you were European, you probably wouldn’t say what you said. Despite the similarities we often regard us not (only) as Europeans, but as Germans or Irish or British or Italian … or as North Germans or Frisians … Partly because of the many wars we had in Europe, the many foreign reigns and partly because of the knowledge of so many different and rich cultures of such ages. I imagine this as richness that is reflected in every recent person I met somewhere in Europe. (If the person is aware of what lies in her or him.) It’s a fascinating game to find out what comes together in one person.

Okay, no one really needs the percentage … it’s just a game. :)

cwm85 July 17, 2015 at 9:55 am

You are ignorant… and a racist

hesh123 August 2, 2015 at 1:07 am

Oh god, hahaha how can you be this dumb?

Michael January 10, 2014 at 9:23 am

She looks like Zoey Deschanel who looks like Katy Perry.

martin February 5, 2014 at 2:49 am

Uhm… no.
Far more beautiful than both of them.
And she shows such nice boobs on True Detective ep.2!

Adam December 10, 2013 at 7:59 pm

She definitely looks part Irish to me.

the punisher December 10, 2013 at 9:47 pm

I agree there is no Italian in her reflection

Jane December 19, 2013 at 12:48 am

Punisher you are such a moron. Clearly you have something against Italian people, or you think all Italians should look like the most extreme american stereotypes. Not sure why you think you are the authority on ethnicities. Your comments only prove that you are an ignorant, and likely racist person with way too much time on your hands.

Barbara Meek April 24, 2014 at 11:29 am

The Italian is in her eyes for sure. The shape of her brows and shape and size of her eyes spell Italian all the way.

dev December 22, 2013 at 1:45 pm

I see her more Hungarian

Lol1 December 7, 2013 at 9:46 am

Bianca Balti *

Lol1 December 7, 2013 at 9:45 am

actually there is Maria name in Azerbaijan, so we dont know much more about her mother

Ria1 August 5, 2013 at 6:54 am

Alexandra is 37.5 Italian which makes her mostly Italian with a little of English and Czeh thrown in and a mere 12% irish. So I would consider her Italian. There are many Italians with Light skin and light eyes and they are all Italian.

andrew August 5, 2013 at 12:36 pm
follers August 5, 2013 at 2:09 pm

I think over 50% is what would qualify as being “mostly” something.

Bianca Balti looks like Eva Green.

andrew August 5, 2013 at 5:58 pm

Eva is pretty but not on the same level of Bianca and other super models

andrew August 5, 2013 at 6:10 pm

I cant get why Wikipedia says Bianca’s mom is Azerbaijani, actually she’s called Maria Bice Marzani and she’s obviously Italian lol

ae111 August 6, 2013 at 7:56 am

She doesn’t seem to deny it in this Turkish interview.

andrew August 6, 2013 at 3:24 pm

I used google translator..btw this site says her mom is a “native” of Azerbaijan, not that she’s Azerbaijani (being named Maria Bice Marzani it’s clearly Italian)

Kate December 27, 2013 at 10:54 am

Her surname sounds very Italian

what a man

beyfox January 6, 2013 at 1:42 pm

Her name sounds italian

andrew February 6, 2013 at 10:04 pm

it should have been “Alessandra” to sound Italian

beyfox February 17, 2013 at 10:28 am

yes, but “Daddario” sounds Italian or Greek

gwendolly27 January 3, 2013 at 12:21 pm

She looks really hungarian

me January 6, 2013 at 7:52 am

Hungarians seem gypsies actually, I meant she looks very northern European

nnnnn May 25, 2013 at 3:38 pm

“hungarians seems gypsies”. And you ment my comment
about finno-hungarian ethnic group as non-european
was rasistic and ignorant?

Me myself and I June 21, 2013 at 2:04 am

In fact it is (racistic and ignorant)! And you’re really stupid if Finno-Hungarians aren’t European.

Me myself and I June 21, 2013 at 2:03 am

She reminds me of Barbara Palvin a 100% Hungarian model. But only reminds me, not that they’re alike.

follers June 21, 2013 at 2:43 am

I always thought Alexandra Daddario looked like Lake Bell.

P.S., is “Palvin” Barbara Palvin’s real surname? It really isn’t a Hungarian last name. Perhaps it is a stage name.

Me myself and I June 21, 2013 at 3:46 am

I don’t know, Lake’s features are too strong and too sharp.
I was researching for a while, and it seems that Palvin’s apparently her real surname.

me December 13, 2012 at 6:38 am

She is pretty, she looks so Hungarian

me December 13, 2012 at 1:50 pm

Her skin and eyes it obviously did not come from her Italian side.

COOLGUY2012 January 3, 2013 at 8:34 pm

Are you kidding me? I thought inmediately and associate her features and skintone to italians (especially northern/central italians).

COOLGUY2012 January 4, 2013 at 11:44 am

Well, if this the only one with full italian blood, he could be southern or central, i dont know which is the region he is coming from. He seems alpine atlanto med, so she could inherit some of her features from him. I would guess her as italian or hungarian.

COOLGUY2012 January 4, 2013 at 4:33 pm

Please dude, irony isnt neccesary, because i have never denied any proper italian as such. Those people are part italians and for example, Musso could fit in south and maybe in central italy and Mazello could fit in central and north, altough there are a lot of southerners with northern italian or central european look.

COOLGUY2012 January 4, 2013 at 7:19 pm

I agree, when he was a kid he was a pale redhead. Maybe he died his hair, but some of his features really changed.

Alice January 4, 2013 at 10:16 pm

He had medium brown hair as a kid (not red). It is very common for people’s hair to be lighter when young and darken as they get older.

Ricksterflo22 January 4, 2013 at 6:08 pm

The positive vote is now wrong because it comes from everything, but her nose structure and bottom neck structure are somewhat Italian. Also, since when do we agree that people don’t come from this or that when they are..? Very brave example is the Germans. Sometimes, few people over there have issues of ethnicity mixes as German, Italian, Russian, but they are human just. People here in the USA have such with Hispanics and Blacks, but some blacks are mulatto, not black fully anymore, and some prejudice so much on Hispanics/Latinos that they don’t recognize them as white, yet most are. When we learn to accept, we truly realize.

smiley November 18, 2012 at 9:17 am

Beautiful coloring.

nnnnn November 21, 2012 at 12:46 am

You didn’t see some Jared Leto.
Superstitious people would say “illiminaty” about both
of them

andrew May 25, 2013 at 3:34 pm

D’Addario (correct spell) is a surname from South Italy. An escort with this last name gave Silvio Berlusconi many troubles some years ago. She was Patrizia D’Addario
