Tedy Bruschi is an American professional football player. A linebacker, he played for thirteen seasons for the New England Patriots of the National Football League (NFL). He was also senior advisor to the head coach for Arizona. He founded the foundation Tedy’s Team, for stroke research.

Tedy’s paternal grandparents were from the frazione of Bruschi di Sopra, Bedonia, Emilia-Romagna, Italy. His mother is of Filipino descent. His stepfather was professional tennis player Ron Sandys. His son, Dante, plays college football.
