Mike D is an American rapper, musician, producer, songwriter, and fashion designer. He was a member of the hip hop group Beastie Boys, in which he played the drums. Other members included Ad-Rock and Adam Yauch. He is also known as Mike D, Mike Diamond, Country Mike, The King of Lunch, and Meshach.

Mike is the son of Hester, an interior designer, and Harold Diamond, an art dealer. He grew up in a Jewish family. Mike has two children with his wife, director Tamra Davis.
