Jordan Rodrigues is an Australian actor and dancer. He is known for his roles on the series Home and Away, Dance Academy, Camp (2013), The Fosters, Faking It, Light as a Feather, L.A.’s Finest, and National Treasure: Edge of History; in the films Breaking Through, Lady Bird, and Bring It On: Worldwide Cheersmack; and as the voice of Liu Kang in Mortal Kombat animated movies.

His parents are from Malaysia. His father is from Malacca (Melaka), and most of his paternal family has lived there for several generations.

Jordan’s paternal grandfather was Gerard Francis Rodrigues (the son of Ernest Vincent Rodrigues and Marian Risel Beins). Gerard was born in Malaysia. Ernest was born in Malacca, Malaysia, the son of Antonio Agostinho/Agostinho Antonio Rodrigues and Margaret Ella Pengelly, whose parents were from Australia and England, respectively. Pengelly is a Cornish surname. Marian was born in Malacca, the daughter of Jeronimo Beins and Evarista Martinha Barnabas.

Jordan’s paternal grandmother was named Lorna Mary Ita Kwong. Lorna was born in Tampin, Malaysia, and likely was of Chinese descent.
