She is the daughter of British actress Samantha Eggar and American actor and producer Tom Stern. Her brother is film producer Nicholas Stern, and her half-brother is actor Cameron Cash. Jenna is married to actor Brennan Brown.

Jenna’s maternal grandfather was Ralph Alfred James Eggar, a brigadier in the British Army (the son of James Eggar and Eda Mary Ison). Ralph was born in Paddington, London, England.
