Graham Chapman was an English comedian, writer, actor, and author. He was a member of comedy troupe Monty Python, along with John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle, Terry Jones, and Michael Palin. He was also known as Gray Chapman.
He was the son of Edith (Towers) and Walter Chapman, who was a police constable and later chief inspector.
Graham’s maternal grandfather was named Harry/Henry Towers. Harry was born in Hinckley, Leicestershire.
