looks Southern European, then again decent amount of Brits do due to Roman ancestry

Her hidden ethnicity is showing more in that pic.

Jeez….she’s like a closeted homosexual who just never comes out when it’s very obvious.Lool

  2. WTF says:

She does not look 100% English. She looks part Asian, like Filipino…

Hi Ethni & Follers, you may also want to change Cheryl’s surname on here as she now wants to be known as ‘Cheryl Fernandez-Versini’ since she got married a few weeks ago to Frenchman Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini.
Also I don’t understand why there are so many disagreements over Cheryl’s background. Yes, I agree Cheryl does have exotic features (The dark hair, dark eyes, olive skin-tone) more than the average British person, who is usually quite pale in comparison. But please believe me when I say that there are those British/Irish people out there (Completely of either English, Welsh, Scottish or Irish descent) who have one or two or all of the above physical traits. To name a few well-known people such as Catherine Zeta Jones (Welsh & Irish heritage), Kelly Brook (English heritage), Andrea Corr (Irish heritage), Christine Bleakley (Northern Irish heritage), Colin Farrell (Irish heritage), Clive Owen (English heritage), Christian Bale (English heritage), Tom Jones (Welsh & English heritage), Olivia Cooke (English heritage), Gemma Arterton (English, Scottish & distant German heritage), Victoria Beckham (English & distant German heritage) & even Keira Knightley (English, Scottish & Welsh heritage) when she doesn’t bleach her hair lighter. The one thing all the above have in common is either the naturally dark hair, dark eyes, olive/tanned skin tone or all of those physical traits mentioned. These physical traits are more common in the UK than people from over-seas realize. Just because you have darker features doesn’t always constitute to you being of Mediterranean or Hispanic descent.
Also I would like to add that Cheryl is well-known for her spray tans, which make her dark features look even more exotic, aswell as the ton of make-up & fake eye-lashes that she wears which accentuate her already dark eyes & long hair extensions that attribute even more to that exotic look that she emulates so well. Just because we’re British doesn’t instantly mean that every British person has red hair, freckles, blue eyes & pale as snow skin. As I’ve explained there are those British people who have darker physical features & don’t have any ancestry or links to any other parts of the world. I’m probably going to get some replies from this, but I’m entitled to my opinions & views just as anybody else is.

You’re absolutely right, there are many dark British people. However, there are plenty of dark people in every single European country. There are no less dark people in say Germany, even Scandinavia has it’s fair share of dark features. But yes many people seem to think that every single Northern European is fair, which is not correct.

Thank-you for agreeing with me Kosko & I have to agree with you too. There are many people from all over Europe who have more darker physical features & are of completely European descent. Many people from other parts of the world instantly attribute these darker featured Europeans to definitely having another ethnicity in their genetic make-up, which isn’t always the case. Yes sometimes it can be that a dark featured European may have another ethnicity in their background, but there’s also a lot of European’s who have only European heritage for as far back as records began who still have these darker physical traits. There is a possibility that Cheryl Cole may have other nationalities or ethnicities in her ancestry that has gone undocumented, but there’s also a good chance that she is of complete British Isles/Irish descent. I also think if she did have other ethnicities in her heritage she would have quite happily have been open about it with the public & media. I mean why shouldn’t she be?! At one point she was married to a mixed raced man. But yes I have to agree with you Kosko of the stereotype that all Europeans are fair. It’s like how a lot of people classify all Germans as being blonde haired & blue-eyed, when in actual fact there’s a lot of darker featured Germans. Sorry for going on a bit, but I’m sure you get my point,ha. ;)

Well thats just as bad as people thinking that every black African is dark skinned black and they are many color skin tone complexjon variations in black African people. Even hair texture does not run the same.
